Punar Vivah 21st February 2013 Written Episode
Scene 1:
Location: Yash’s residence.
Arti stops and tells yash that she wangts to say something as he understands and feels for his emotions, but whatever he knows is the half truth. yash turns around in surprise and Arti says that it would be wise if he hears him out completely and then take descision. She, then goes on to tell him, but before she can, prateik calls in on yash, to tell him that they have to take akash out in the city, on a donkey, so that people knwo what happenes when people lie. Yash, has no option but to leave.
Arti thinks that she understands yash’s feelings fro suraj, but what happens when yash knows the whole truth and is determined that he would have to hear the whole truth from her today, even if it pains him very much.
Outside, Akash asks radha not to free him or clean him up, as he’s not hurt at the insult, as ever since he’s born, he has been called illegitimate, but he is in pain, knwoing that the mother who she considered god, has told him a lie all his life, when in fact he could have borne the identity of being bad blood. radha triest o convince him, but he says that he would bear that this dream of living in the scindia mansion would also break, just like the others that have broken earlier. He asks radha to go from there, as her tears would make him weak otherwise. radha leaves from there.
Prateik asks the band to play loudly so that they can give a befitting insulting exit to akash. Arti is tensed to see yash’s reaction, who after knwoing the truth is unable to bear the sight of what he sees. Finally yash loses his cool and asks him to stop playing drums and dhola. His brothers too ask as to why has he stopped it. Suraj too questions him. yash says how can he feel everything being right without any regret. Suraj asks whats to regret in family’s happiness. His brothers too are boggled. Gayatri says that yash is so kind that he cant bear ill happeneing to enemies even. Yash says that he cant reveal whats bothering him, as that would mean ruining his family and his parents.
Yash’s brothers ask him to join in parading akash. But yash says that its not required, as that would be of no use. Pankaj and prateik say that they need to do this for suraj’s respect in the society, and ask yash if he doesnt feel to prevent suraj’s dignity. yash thinks that if his brothers know the truth, then they wont ever be able to respect their father ever again. gayatri asks him too, that he cant take sides with aksah, instead of suraj, who akash so shamelessly insulted. But finally gayatri asks pankaj to stop, if yash wont be a part, but she says that akash would definitely be punished.
Radha is in tears seeing that. She is joined by arti, who asks her not to cry, wiping her tears, and asks her to take the swearing that radha had given her and also let her say the truth and save radha and akash from this insult. Radha says that this is not as easy as it seems as this truth is such that it would bring a storm in the family, and that gayatri would go mad knowing the truth. She sys that they wont ever be able to accept akash as real, and yash as their step son. and yash would completely break down. Arti says that akash should get his rightful place in the family.
Ishita wonders as to what is arti talking to radha. Arti is determined that just like Lord shiva had to drink poison to save the world, someone would have to drink this poisonous truth, and yash would knwo the truth. Radha says that would only be yash. She says that it would only bring tension in the family. ishita wonders what relation arti has with radha that radha is patting her on the head. However, arti doesnt listen to radha and tells her that she is predetermined that he would tell yash the truth today itself.
Arti comes outside to find the whole family happily insulting akash. Ishita asks arti as to why she isnt happy along with her family, in insulting akash, when she had been the one who had started this fight to giev justice to her family. Ishita, confronts her saying that she’s again being an ideal daughter in law, and says that her silence is speaking that she’s hiding some truth about the scindia family. She confronts arti saying that the DNA report that her father had brought was a fake after all, which she knows and she knows that arti too knows it. Arti says that its not a fake report, and its very true. But ishita says that doesnt she feel bad that she’s falling below her dignity, in being with the injustice happening to her husband, and lying to ishita on hert face. she tells arti that due to her being quiet, she has to face an insulting life, when yash had already insulted her enough by leaving her stranded in the mandap. yaah had accused radha of a bad upbringing, whereas arti herself about to become a mother, is doing the same thing, by being silent to whats wrong thats happening in front of her eyes.
Ishita tells her that she would forvere be suffocated in keeping this truth in their hearts, and they wont be able to live in peace, thinking that they have devoided a person from getting his rightful place in the society. she curses that arti too would never see happiness in her life. Saying so, she leaves. Arti is determined that she wont let her kids face the wrath of anyone’s curse since her whole reason for her remarriage with yash, was kids, and she cant let them face anyone’s curse. She is determined that she would tell the truth to yash today only. The screen freezes on her face.
Precap: Yash tells arti that they would have to forget that akash is the illegitimate child of this house. Arti breaks down saying that akash indeed is the legitimate child of the family, whereas he is suraj and radha’s son. Yash is shocked to hear this.

February 21, 16:05Oh my gosh! Today’s episode angered me. Aarti was concerned about Yash, now what? Ishita is the most annoying character ever. How can she talk to Aarti like that? If it was me, then I would tell Ishita to go away. This truth I have learned to accept, that Yash is Radha’s son. Yash is going through a difficult time just knowing that Aakaush is Suraj’s son. Aarti is not being right. She was manipulated by Ishita. Just because Ishita is Aakaush’s wife doesn’t mean that she is right. She is spying on everyone, what is she a freaking detective? Ishita thinks that she is right and that she can get revenge by doing all this but she is wrong in both cases. Ishita is not good, she makes as many mistakes as a bad person. She is getting revenge, but not the kind of revenge that she would want. Aarti is only thinking of Radha and Aakaush. Does she think about her family? Gayatri will go crazy and Pankaj and Pratiek will be depressed. Yash will go crazy as well. He will run away from the family, believing that he has no right on the family. Aarti should not make rash decisions. She should have more consideration when it comes to things like this. She should care about her husband if not her in-laws. I understand that she cares about lives being ruined, but she shouldn’t do this. So many lives are at stake here, do you think that people will really be able to durden this truth. Yash and Aarti are struggling with the right path. I do not think that Radha should have mentioned anything. She should not have tried to get Aakaush his right if she knew all of this would happen. But none of this would happen if Suraj could stay with one woman. There is so many problems with the plot right now, my emotions are high and all over the place. Especially I am scared for Yash and Gayatri. They will be destroyed. The family will fall apart with its name. Aakaush will get his right, but no one will accept him fully. Radha will leave and Aakaush will have no family but Pankaj, Pratiek, Gayatri, Suraj, Pari, Vidhi, and Aarti. I am sure that Yash will leave, he will feel he doesn’t have a right on the family, he will feel like a cheap additional child. Aakaush and Ishita will be the only ones happy. This is chaotic stuff. I am mad at Aarti and Ishita. Radha has some sense, she understands the big picture. I am not saying that Aarti has no sense, just that she doesn’t understand he big picture. All she can see is that someone’s right is not being fully gotten. Aakaush is shameful. I understand that is extremely wrong and I think that the truth should always be revealed and nothing should be hidden. I just do not think that Aarti should be taking such quick decisions. She should not have got herself into this truth in the first place. Anyway, I was kind of pleased with this episode. Overall, frustrating episode.

February 21, 21:15The ironic thing here Punar Vivah , is that we the audience , have become supporters of a lie . We wanted the truth to remain hidden for a while longer , to protect our hero . But , now , irregardless of wrong or right way , the cat is out of the bag . Yash deserves the truth . If Aarti wasn’t forced to spit it out , she might have taken it to her grave . Maybe in her head she couldn’t handle deceiving Yash . Maybe Ishita only forced her to see things a little differently . Even the negative people in our lives challenge our growth and keep us on our toes to become better than what they think of us . Ishita’s intent may have been bad , but it brought forth a reality that Yash needs to face .
Don’t worry too much about our hero . He doesn’t need wealth , status nor power . He has God on his side and his heart is pure . Even if he loses his way for a while , he will not stray for long off his moral path .

It his his tendency to be that way . Eventually he would have dealt with things in a veritable way . This was one time that Aarti could should have listened and waited on him .

Just imagine who you thought was mother now becomes a total stranger who raised you from birth. For G3 nursing her husband illegitimate child. Wow intense indeed.

Ruining a poor girls life and he talking about reputation, what a crying shame.
He should have done the right thing by them then.
If he did not want anyone to know, he is such a rich man he could have set up Radha in a nice house, and been giving her money to support herself and the child without anyone knowing.
If the truth came out later at least he would not have the stigma of having ruined so many people’s lives. And a poor girl and an innocent child would not have had to suffer and it would not have turned into such a nasty showdown.

If they were faced with this situation they would keep mum because they know thier first loyalty s to Suraj no matter how cheap he is. Thats what you call family. Arti is still not apart of this family but a stranger. Thats the same blind loyalty she kept for the Dubeys.
She’s not Zoya or Rhadika or Abha and I feel like they are trying to make her like them or her last charcater the Queen of Jhansi. In that show she had servants and a council loyal ppl she could trust and her adopted son. Where’s that unwavering faith she had for her husband in that show in punar vivah? There isnt any.
the writer should be fired or threatened with unemployment. The trps are dropping. Pavtra Rishta is above it I wont be surprised if Gunjan-Rachna drama is above it too dont get me wrong i like that show alot

February 21, 15:58I understand what you really mean MU….yes there is a chance for that…. it may reach fifth place. The leading shows portraits women characterisation gracefully, we feel proud of them. The first one (Mb) that lady dealing with a rogue bravely & brilliantly. And Zoya characterisation is remarkable, she is carefree natured but standing firmly against a rude & judgmental natured man..
I didn’t know much about the other shows….
They are spoiling this wonderful couple by irrelevant script & dry romance…
MU….I think we should consider both the points for Arthi’s weird activities

February 21, 16:37I think that the writers have a more difficult task with Aarti . She comes with extensions . If she favours the husband more than the kids , some will rebuke her . If she is more loyal to the kids , she also faces criticism .
At the beginning , the rules were pretty clear . They married for the betterment of the kids . If we examine her and Yash’s relationship closely , we cannot completely blame the writers for their logic . I feel like she’s comparing shobha-prashant relationship to Gayatri-yash relations when its so different Shobha has done her best like Radha to raise their son but at the end of the day its up to that child to follow teachings. I also think that you people forgot that Prashant had Dubeji as a father and he still ended up like a bad ass a dead ass at that. Prashant and Akash are selfish and ignored thier mother’;s teachings father or no father. Even if you try to compare poor with middle class nothing has changed. February 21, 14:54I know Genetics have to do with some things while others are learnt. All I wanted was that Arti be sensitive and understanding. I didnt feel that yesterday its like Suraj light bulb went up in her. Yes as a mother justice should be done and she should understand more. Like I said at times I dont know who Arti is anymore. Her character gets more messed up as more events happened.
I can say this though Akash doesnt have any mother. Gayatri would never accpet him and he would hate Radha for making him live in poverty. It was her selfish behaviour that did this to him, but it was his poor decisions that made his life the way it is. When I look at Manav i love his character. Despite his poverty he worked hard and made it as a business man. Thats a beautiful success story in my book.
Yash is already loved and cuddled by Gayatri and loved even more by Radha. Akash would hate Radha for making yashs take his place. Tired of Ishta’s blame game theory. More than once her dad asked her to come back but to me she wants to stay for the drama. I just want to know how Gayatri react to raising her mistress son how would Suraj react? Thats like the biggest betrayal and deceit : swapping babies.

But , now he is bounded because he has no real rights to what he thought was his . he said that his father made him who he is , but like Manav , he should stand on his two feet as well . This poor guy has to question his identity . So does Akash . It is terrible times on PV .
Aarti is not perfect. , but inherently she is good . Her methods are clumsy , but she is passionate and head strong . Yash has never sought to silence her until now . She has stood by his side through some rough times in the past . He used poor judgement by remaining quiet . If Aarti didn’t speak , Ishita might have done worse with what she knows . Maybe it was just the correct time for this truth to come out . These writers are funny ..they give us what we want , but not in the way we want it . We wanted the truth to be out , but not like this , lol .
I still sympathize with Akash a little . It is not easy being brought up under scrutiny . He seems to have his heart in the correct place , but unlike Yash , he is very world wise . I don’t know why he never had a better job despite his good education . But he can be ruthless in ways that Mr Sindad can only dream . He has no fear of society’s scorn . February 21, 22:17I’ve seen this situation. My friend discovered that his father was cheating on his mom. He as a 6 yr old saw the lady his dad secretary making out with his dad infront of him. He. Was so shocked he alreday knows that this is wrong. He stared at them in an evil manner the lady felt guilty and was like how are you sweetie how was school. He had to make a decsion either tell mommy dad was a bastard watch them split up and visit dad on holidays with a heartbroken mother. Or keep mum about it. He chose the 2nd one for his mom and his hapiness sake. He never tsted his dad again. He told his mom his when he turned 18 and his mom confessed that she knew. He asked y didn’t she do something she said due to love and keeping the family together.
Another friend discovrered that her father had a secret daughter and a girlfriend when her father died. She was already pretty piss she asked her mom did she know. The mother confess she knew about the cheating. What about his other daughter she replied somewhat yes. Y didn’t u u leave him. Same answer as before. a

Ishita gave quite a speech . Appealing to Aarti’s stance on morality and what she teaches her children . I know that she want hat is best for her husband and probably had some self seeking interest in that speech , but Aarti really needed to hear what she said .
I am surprised that Yash stood so silently , dying inside to protect the wrong man . So sad …

SP- deserves to be punished for humiliating radha.
I feel sorry for G3- she was oblivious throughout all this. She will be broken for sure after trusting her husband so much.
