Rishi Sandipani tells Krishna that he and his fellow saints are fasting since 11 days and came to break there fast to his palace, but Radha fed them a bitter juice and hence he is very angry on Radha. Jestha/Alakshmi acts and requests him to punish her instead of Radha. Sandipani says she is so simple and is taking Radha’s blame on herself, so he will forgive Radha. He says they all will have food in the evening. Jestha says she will relay his message to Radha and leaves. Krisha requests Sandipani to excuse him for some time to check what went wrong in the kitchen. Sandipani permits. Krishna walks to Alakshmi. Alakshmi taunts him that he is so fond of her that he came behind her. He says he tolerated her tricking Radha, but he cannot tolerate her tricking his guru. She says he is so worried for them. He warns her that she will be cursed by his guru for her evil act. She says Radha will be cursed and not her, he should know that she and Radha will prepare food for saints. Sam walks to him and informs that guruji is calling him. Krishna says whoever does sins will suffer. Alakshmi says serving his guru is his upmost duty. Krishna walks away fuming.
Alakshmi then walks into kitchen and sees Radha tensed unable to prepare food yet. Jestha says rishi Sandipani will get angry if food is not served, they should prepare something quickly. Radha says they should prepare kheer and requests her to prepare it. Jestha hesitates and says she cannot prepare kheer like Radha. Radha says she will teach her and convinces her. Mahadev discusses Alakshmi’s wicked plan with devi Gauri. Devi Gauri says Sandipani will curse Radha for sure with Alakshmi’s evil act. Mahadev says they shouldn’t allow Alakshmi inside home for the same reason.
Sandipani tells Krishna that he is hungry and asks if this is how he treats his guests. Krishna asks Sam to check in kitchen if food is prepared. Sam walks to kitchen. Radha says kheer will be prepared soon. Sam returns. Sandipani tells Krishna that he didn’t expect such a treatment from him, else he wouldn’t have brought hungry rishis here. Balram tells Krishna that food is not yet prepared, how will he manage. Krishna says he has a plan and informs rishis that they recite Ashtalakshmi stories every evening and he is blessed to have rishis’ presence during today’s recitation. Rishis ask him to quench their hunger first. Krishna says spiritual satisfaction is more important than physical satisfaction. Sandipani backs him and asks to gather everyone for story recitation. Sam thinks Krishna delayed rishis’ wrath for some time.
Krishna gathers everyone in prayer hall. Radha takes Alakshmi along for hear recitation. Krishna asks which Lakshmi’s story they should start now. Nishat says Dhanyalakshmi’s. Jestha tells Radha its evening and they should go. Radha says they can’t in between the recitation. Krishna starts Mithala kingdom’s story where a drought hits and king Janak’s citizens request him to find a solution. Janak says he doesn’t know what to do. A rishi suggests him to pray Dhanyalakshmi as her presence will end drought and plough the land himself. Janak agrees. Krishna says they should follow the said path. He continues story where Raja Janak starts ploughing land when he finds somthings tuck and calls citizens to check. They find a baby in a trunk. A voiceover sings Janaki has arrived. Janak picks divine child and accepts her as his daughter and names her Seeta. Mithila prospers again with greenery. Krishna says they should make their dear ones happy and peaceful and only then Dhanyalakshmi stays in their house. He says they should prepare food and serve it equally among their family members for their prosperity, but Alakshmi is completely opposite and she brings poverty and mistrust among family members, so they should be careful how they cook food as food changes one’s mind and their lives will change accordingly. Everyone chant Maa Dhanyalakshmi ki jai. Alakshmi thinks whatever Krishna tries, Radha will be cursed by Sandipani for sure.
Precap: Alakshmi spoils kheer. Sandipani tastes it and says he cannot stay where he is insulted. Krishna requests him to stay till Radha returns and gives her explanation. Sandipani cruses Radha.
