Rishika Mihani states, Not everyone following a dream can act or become a hero

Rishika Mihani who essays the role of Shivani in Sony Entertainment Television’s Love Marriage Ya Arranged Marriage, produced by Sphere Origins has gone through the grind of looking for good work in the television industry that is over-crowded with aspiring actors as well as experienced ones.

In a frank chat with us Rishika vents out what she feels. “People think it is very easy to get work and act in television, but trust me it is very difficult and I have realized this with the struggle I have gone through. Good roles are available but something is wrong with the casting people. I feel they do not cast the people who are worth the cast. They need people who can give them 30 days and sign a contract with them for all the 365 days when the actor is needed for only 10 days in a month. There is too much of competition out there as there are lot of people coming with the dream of becoming a hero/heroine. However, I am frank enough in saying that not everyone can act or become a hero.”

On the appreciation she has been getting as Shivani, the actress states, “A lot of people can relate to the show and my character as the issues touched upon happens in every second home. I get a lot of fan mails wherein people are curious to know about the track ahead. Few have even invited me to their home town and also share their personal and love related problems with me and seek my advice.”

Rishika, it feels good to know that you are enjoying your work.
