Scene 1
Amitabh’s birthday ceremony starts. Everyone wishes him. Diya enters the house with Dadi. Amitabh rushes to her and asks what happened Maa? She says I am fine, this girl saved me.

Madhuri knocks on Arjun’s door and asks him to get ready and come downstairs.

Dadi tells Amitabh that I went to the bank to get your gift. I fell down the stairs but this girl grabbed me just in time. Deepika says you should have taken me with you. Shobha whispers to Diya that their house is big. Amitabh tells Dadi that we will call a doctor. Diya says we should leave now. Amitabh says you both should have dinner.. I mean we can pack food for you. Diya says no, my family must be waiting. She starts leaving but Dadi stops her and thanks her. Diya smiles and says keep smiling. Just take care. Diya leaves with Shobha. Shobha says we can’t go to the academy now. Diya says I had to help her and I will return from God. Diya sees her mother calling. She says we are on our way. Arjun is in his room and comes near the window. Diya turns to look at the window but he is gone. They don’t see each other.

Tina and her father Singhal come to the party. Amitabh says soon Tina will be our pride. Singhal says she is my life and I am giving her to you. Niharika praises Tina and says Arjun won’t be able to look anywhere else today. Tina says where is he? Arjun is coming downstairs in just shorts and fully drunk. Everyone is shocked to see his state.

Mohan meets a matchmaker to find a good guy for Diya. Diya comes home and hears all that. Mohan introduces Diya to her.

Amitabh takes Madhuri aside and says you couldn’t control him? Just take him back. Madhuri tries to drag Arjun away but Niharika taunts that he is always taking so many drugs and spoiling our parties. Arjun recalls his incident. He glares at Niharika and says it’s a party right? Let’s have a dance. His brother tries to calm him down but he says just chill. Niharika says today is your engagement party so just go and get ready. Arjun says engagement? Niharika says yours. Madhuri says I told you that today is your roka with Tina. Arjun laughs and says engagement with Tina? This is a good deal. He asks Amitabh how much money he got from this deal? Madhuri says you promised to get engaged to her. Tina says don’t worry, I will get engaged to Arjun only. Arjun says wow, they have auctioned me without even asking me. He asks Singhal how much money he had to pay? He takes the ring and says it’s diamond, very beautiful just like Tina. Tina smiles. Arjun throws away the ring, everyone is stunned.

The matchmaker likes Diya and says the groom’s family will like her, the guy is modern and would allow her to do job after marriage. You do know how to cook right? Diya sighs and thinks I want to become my father’s support system. I can’t get married right now. Meera says I will take Diya away. She drags her from there.

Arjun tells everyone in the party to look for the ring. He says whoever finds the ring will get 5K cash. Madhuri tries to stop him but Arjun keeps shouting like he is bidding in an auction. Amitabh is embarrassed. Parvati servant finds the ring. Arjun says you can ask Amitabh to give you money. He asks them to enjoy the party, have dinner and then go. He starts going back to his room. Dadi is hurt seeing all that. Amitabh starts to leave but Tina stops him. She tells the guests that this is Arjun’s style that’s why he is different. He might have not made me wear the ring but we will get engaged. She wears the ring and says now our engagement is done. Singhal says but.. Amitabh says I am sorry for all this, I promise you that Arjun will marry Tina only. Madhuri cries and thinks Arjun broke his promise today.
