Ruhana ‘Gangaa’ Khanna tops her assessment exams

‘Little wonder’, Ruhana Khanna who essays the title role in & TV’s Gangaa (Sphere Origins) is on ‘cloud nine’ after securing ‘top marks’ in her first assessment exams held recently. The girl studies in her 2nd standard, in Delhi and was on a study leave from the show.

Ruhana is now back in Mumbai, and is all set to resume shoot for Gangaa.

And the girl is in happy mood, as she has already got her marks of the assessment.

Says her mother, “Yes, she has secured the top marks in her first assessment, and we left Delhi after getting the results. We are back on set today, after a break for studies.”

Talking about her ‘masti’ time in Delhi, the happy mother states, “She had her share of enjoyment too. We visited all kinds of places, from the malls to the villages, to India Gate. Ruhana received a lot of love from her relatives. She even visited her grand old Nani, and played ‘Ghar Ghar’ at Nani’s house (smiles).”

Ruhana had a non-stop flow of visitors coming in to meet her at her house. “We had to send them in to meet her, in batches. Such is the fan-following that my daughter received in Delhi from the localites there.”

Lastly, the proud mother feels that playing such a strong character as Gangaa has very much helped Ruhana in real life too. “Portraying such a bold character, and mouthing pages of dialogues with ease, has instilled a lot of confidence in my girl. She now has a greater capacity of grasping things fast, and needs very less time to learn anything in school.”
