Sadhna goes to Vijay’s room and does not find him. She sees news papers and Prabhath’s books on bed and thinks what Vijay was doing. At election venue, reporters discuss that Pankaj Chaudhry will win election alone unopposed. Pankaj’s supporters garland him and he boasts in dias that he will win this elections. He calls Baba and boasts that he will get him Kaushalpur’s seat today. Baba asks him not to jump like a frog as anything can happen in politics at end moment.

Pankaj continues boasting. Vijay’s friends enter playing bugel followed by Vijay. Pankaj asks him if he forgot yesterday’s torture. Vijay says his torture inspired him and he was quiet yesterday due to his family, now he is fearless. Pankaj shakes hands with him and warns to back off. Vijay presses

his hand tightly. Pankaj writhes in pain, but controls. Reporters ask Vijay if he is also filling nomination form. Vijay says Pankaj and he will speak in sometime. He walks in, fills nomination form, comes out and calls Mandira. Mandira watches him on TV and gets happy. Vijay tells Mandira that he fliled nomination form and called her first. She says she knows. He says he is standing against her papa’s candidate. She wishes him all the best and asks him to attend people. Vijay addresses reporters and says Pankaj inspired him to stand in his brother Prabhath’s place and has promised to protect him, his family and supporters. He continues that Pankaj gave his blessings to win. Pankaj nods yes, says he also wants Kaushalpur’s progress and nothing else. Vijay leaves. Baba asks his wife to switch off TV and tells Mandira that Vijay will use her and his name to win elections Mandira says she knows Vijay very well and he will not use their names. She prays god to help Vijay win so that her parents accept their alliance.
Vijay returns home. Angad and Gayatri oppose his decision to stand in election. Sadhna comes and says he became so big that he did not find it important to ask her once and scolds him. He says he has decided to get justice for Prabhath as his murderers are political big wigs and he also wants to gain power to fight them. Gayatri asks how will he win. He says he will use saam daam dand bhed. Sadhna slaps him.
