Sangeeta Kapure and Aashu Kohli in Life OK’s Kalash

Balaji Telefilms will launch its new show Kalash on Life OK from tonight. Starring Aparna Dixit and Krrip Suri in lead roles, the daily will present the tale of a young girl Devika’s belief in God and how her faith would help her overcome all crisis in life.

Now, playing important characters in the show will be Sangeeta Kapure (Shekhar) and Aashu Kohli (Rekha) as well. They would play Devika’s chacha-chachi.

Sangeeta, who won hearts with her portrayal of the loving elder sister in Qubool Hai, was busy with her Marathi film and this sort of is a comeback for her on TV. As for Aashu, he was last seen in Colors’ Bani.

The two will be positive characters and love the orphan Devika and treat her like their own daughter. Shekhar, who would come across as a feeble person, would actually be a strong one from heart, who would dare to stand up for anything wrong around him.

As for Rekha, she would be like a mother to Devika and love her more than her own daughters.

Talking on the same Sangeeta shared, “I cannot reveal much about the character but I am really excited to play a positive role after such a long time. Hopefully viewers would also enjoy it.”

Aashu too confirmed his presence and added, “I am really excited about the show as it has all the flavours to be a successful one. I am sure it will entertain everyone.”
