Gunjan supports Rachna but Seema taunts her for being a bad wife. Dayal tells Rachna he hates her name and its so shameful that the son of the house lost his job because of her. Mayank also scolds her that she took Vihaan s side who had made her and Gunjan s life hell. Gunjan tells him to stop and that anyone could have given the cd to the police and says she would have done the same if she was in Rachna s place and the mistake is the boss s who is pressurizing him to save his son. She tells him to be proud of Rachna Shayl understands and when Seema is taunting her that she is responsible for Rachna s actions. She blames him for throwing her husband in the fire prabhu tells her to talk to the bahu properly. Seema tells her to be a good wife ,bahu , bhabi and tells Mayank that who did you expect anything from . She says Rachna is that girl who stayed out the full night and asks her what has she done with Vihaan. Shayl gets angry and tells her not to talk to her daughter in such a degrading tone. She supports Rachna that she went to the party because she loves her father and can go to any extent for him. She says Rachna is the only one who actually did something when the shop burnt. Shayl tells why should nt she support Vihaan he is innocent and he was the only one who stood by her. Seema gets angry that for her Mayank is right and tells that its best to have different kitchens and when prabhu stops her Shayl says its for the best. She says once there is bitterness in relations its tough to stay together . Everyone is shocked. Shayl tells her she can live how she wants and they will do the same. Seema tells her she can live without them.
Shayl leaves holding Rachna while Seema drags Mayank. The whole family goes and Gunjan is crying. She goes to the room and Gunjan tells Shayl to understand that she has always kept the family together but Shayl tells her to understand. Gunjan asks her how can she separate her from Rachna but Shayl tells her to go as she is the dil and needs to be with Mayank. She tells her its too late now and asks her to explain Seema Gunjan leaves and Rachna is lost in happy times while Dayal remembers the batwara while Shayl comes with a arti ki thali and he breaks her fast but when Shayl feeds him he leaves.
PRECAP: Mayank is screaming at Gunjan that girls like her dont value the importance of joint family and he has left her no where . He leaves while Gunjan is in tears

August 19, 15:12Mayank is a fierce, barking house dog only able to show his anger at family like Rachna who doesn’t fight back but when it comes to other ppl like his boss, he’s a whimpering, wounded animal with his tail between his legs. WTF is wrong with Dayal? Where the hell is his priority? He should be siding with Shayl n Rachna. Instead of berating Rachna for doing the right thing Dayal should have told mayank off, that he has shamed the family’s name by compromising his principles in exchange for a job. Shayl should have taken Rachna n left maybe that wud make Dayal realize how precious they are to him. He’s such a tyrant.
