Sharad Malhotra to portray grown up Maharana Pratap!
Sony TV’s Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap is doing exceptionally well for the channel and the makers of the show have struck a perfect chord with the audience’s. The show was launched in May last year and till today it has been the favorite of the masses. The show now is all set to take the story further and show a grown up Maharana Pratap.
Well, the latest news that we came to know regarding the show is that Sharad Malhotra will be playing the lead of a grown up Maharana Pratap in the show. His entry will be seen by September. Sharad was last seen in Banoo Main Teri Dulhann and will be seen on the small screen after five years.
When contacted Sharad, he said “Yes, I am playing Maharana Pratap.”
But it would be an interesting watch to see how and when will Sharad enter the show. Faisal l Khan currently plays the role of young Maharana Pratap.

October 10, 16:37Well, the leap has happened! Certain changes are beyond our control, just like the changes in Pratab’s life. I did not know who Sharad Malhotra was, but having watched him for the last few episodes, I believe he just may pleasantly surprise us. He has a regal look – strong, attractive, educated and a very important quality – slight vunerability, which he expresses with his eyes. Now, I’m not comparing Sharad Malhotra to the BIG B, but no one thought he had a chance when he first started, but BOY!! Look what he is now!!! So give the man a chance.

September 21, 07:02Plzz don’t replace faisal with any1 else and Roshni too. They really look too good with each other. No1 in the world can act like faisal. He is the top most actor in the world & Roshni also deservs it. She is so sweet. If leap happen than I am not going to see it any more & I am sure that no viewers wants leap. After hearing this news I m shocked & I cried very much. I m in 9th standard and by my experience I can say that no child want to see mrp after leap. Plzz don’t replace my faisal with any1 else.

First of all I sincerely appreciate that this show Maharana Pratap has simply created ripples amongst a huge mass of audience right from Day 1 for which, the success story goes to the A Class Quality, Costumes, Grandeur coupled with the presence of FAISAL KHAN ONLY. Simply deserves kudos!!! Such that me and my entire family watch this show. Now coming to the pivotal point I feel that this show has also targeted all the kids just because of the show’s uniqueness unlike other shows i.e. the SHOW’S USP IS NONE OTHER THAN FAISAL KHAN for which, the SHOW HAS GAINED THE TOP CHARTBUSTERS. EVERYONE ACROSS THE COUNTRY KNOWS THAT FAISAL HAS STOLE MILLIONS OF HEARTS AND HE IS ALREADY THE HERO THE NATION. Faisal’s style of walking, his looking style, his dialogue throwing, his attitude, a suave way of pulling off/over the sword with flawless expressions have simply been fantabulous and stupendous that raised the show’s level to the highest quality. Thanks a tonne to the makers of Maharana Pratap for auditioning the rightmost person with Faisal. Kudos again to the Makers of Maharana Pratap. Again, you also need to check all the ends i.e. Faisal’s chemistry with Udai Singh (Shakti Anand), his Rani Maa (Rajshree Thakur) and most importantly, Ajabde (Roshni Walia) has simply been fantabulous and outstanding that has raised the show’s cadre to the topmost level. Further, Faisal’s face-to-face fight with Akbar (Vishal Jethwa) has also been impeccably shown. So when everything is all set very correctly then this only should be the show’s USP that should topple over all other shows in the Television World and HENCE THEREBY THERE SHOULD NOT BE ANY LEAP AT ALL. THERE CAN BE LOTS THAT ARE LEFT TO BE SHOWN AND PORTRAYED HERE WITH THE CHILD ACTORS ITSELF. FIRST AND FOREMOST, THE TUSSLE BETWEEN FAISAL AND VISHAL IN THE HALDIGHATI BATTLE. FAISAL KNOWS ABOUT DHEERBAI’S WICKEDNESS (his favourite Choti Maa – that can’t be shown in a grown-up character), which the Child Actors only can continue easily, instead of bringing somebody an old character that doesn’t match-up expectations and loose all the TRPs MAKING THE SHOW QUALITY POOR. Further, I also guess that THERE ARE MANY OPEN THREADS THAT ARE LEFT FOR THIS SHOW TO BE SHOWN WITH THE CHILD ACTORS, LIKE THE BATTLE OF HALDIGHATI BETWEEN FAISAL AND VISHAL; HISTORY SAYS THAT HALDIGHATI BATTLE WAS AT SUCH AN AGE FR MAHARANA PRATAP, WHICH EASILY FAISAL ONLY CAN CONTINUE (I have gone through old historical manuscripts). ALSO PRATAP GETS MARRIED AT A VERY TENDER AGE (i.e. 17), which is so rightly shown, so keep up the spirit of this marriage alive amongst the audience. AS PER HISTORICAL MANUSCRIPTS AGAIN, PRATAP USES GUERILLA WARFARE STRATEGIES, TECHNIQUES AT A VERY TENDER AGE ONLY AND IMPLEMENTS THE SAME, SO AGAIN FAISAL’S PRESENCE WINS HERE :); AJABDE AKA ROSHNI WALIA STEPS INTO CHITTOR AND GRADUALLY KNOWS ABOUT DHEERBAI’S WICKEDNESS AND THEREBY REVEALS THE SAME; What will young Akbar do when he gets to know about Pratap’s capture of Ajmer and Alwar. All of a sudden how this can be shown as a grown-up..that means he sits silent to become old for another tussle with Faisal? (No connection); Why then young Rukaiyya is brought into the serial? What is her importance? No connection, if the show is heading for a leap. So actually a leap is not at all required now and even never because THE SHOW’S SPECIAL EFFECTS ARE ALSO SO GOOD THAT EVEN FAISAL AND ROSHNI ARE LOOKING QUITE GROWN-UPS IN THE WEDDING SCENES. JUST A MOUSTACHE ADDITION TO FAISAL AND SHOW’S SPECIAL EFFECTS ARE ALREADY SO GOOD THAT FAISAL WILL LOOK QUITE GROWN-UP AND HENCE, A GROWN-UP ACTOR’S ENTRY WILL BE JUST LIKE ANOTHER DAILY SOAP AND THEN THE SHOW QUALITY IS BOUND TO DEGRADE (LOOSE A HUGE AMOUNT OF AUDIENCE, MANY KIDS WILL STOP WATCHING THE SHOW); A LEAP WILL ALSO LOOSE ALL THE TRPs. So, just don’t make this historic, epic like another daily soap with Ssharad Malhotra and Rachana Parulkar. A cute, handsome, chocolaty hero like Ssharad Malhotra is a complete misfit for this show as this is just not like another daily soap opera. Faisal has taken this show to a different level with his elegance, poise, grace, attitude that leaves a mark and is the key USP of the show, so please keep this craze moving with the audience that will shower all the blessings. NOT UNDERSTANDING WHY THE MAKERS ARE NOT HONOURING VIEWERS SENTIMENTS AND INSTEAD CRAVING FOR A LEAP, WHICH HAS CREATED A REVOLUTION . IN ALMOST ALL SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES, THERE IS A REVOLT GOING ON AGAINST THIS LEAP AND EVERYBODY WANTS FAISAL TO CONTINUE THIS SHOW. HENCE, PLEASE GIVE A THOUSAND THOUGHTS BEFORE HEADING FOR A LEAP. WHEN YOU ARE ADMITTING THAT NO CAN STEP INTO FAISAL’S SHOES AND HE IS THE HEART-THROB OF THE NATION ALREADY, THEN WHAT IS THE USE OF GOING FOR A LEAP (Why the makers are so eager to loose all the blessings showered and the TRPs that happened only because of the kids?) WHEN THERE ARE LOTS TO SHOWCASE WITH THE YOUNG ACTORS ONLY. LET’S KEEP OUR FINGERS CROSSED AND GET THE NEWS THAT FAISAL IS CONTINUING SHOOTING AFTER 29TH AUGUST EVEN. ALL THE BEST FOR THE SAME TO HAPPEN. ELSE THE ENTIRE NATION WILL CRY AND MANY PEOPLE WILL STOP WATCHING THE SHOW :(:(:(
