Sony TV’s Itti Si Khushi to go off air

Sony Entertainment Television’s recently launched show Itti Si Khushi is all set to bid farewell to TV screens on 2 January.

Shocked? Well we too are!!!

Itti Si Khushi produced by Rajan Shahi’s Directors’ Kut brought an innovative concept of a girl waking up from coma after 12 years and how she dealt with changes in her life. The show was touted to be a game changer but sadly the channel has decided to pull the plug due to low TRPS.

Shares a source, “The numbers did not manage to impress inspite of lot of sub-plot changes. The team has been informed of the same and the shooting will be wrapped up on 25 December.”

The cast has been left disappointed by the development as the show was building on the drama with the marriage of Neha (Smriti Kalra) and Aman (Anuj Sachdeva).

Shared Anuj, “Yes, I am highly disappointed as the show had a lot to offer. I feel the channel should have given some time for it to grow on people’s mind. It is really sad that such a good show had to face this situation.”

Such is the TRP business, Anuj!!!
