The Episode starts with Anjali showing her saree to everyone and telling them that its a surprise gift from Taarak. Bhide says its a costly saree. He says now Madhavi got a chance to ask for a gift. He says congrats but iron it carefully. Madhavi says even I want a surprise gift. Bhide says I got it, I will ask Taarak how to gift the wife. Anjali meets Sodhi and Roshan and gets the praise of the saree. Roshan asks Sodhi to give him surprise. Sodhi says I will gift you the saree which you like. Roshan is happy. The couple comes to Taarak’s house and see the lock. Dayaben and jethalal also compliment Anjali and the saree. Anjali says I can’t believe that Taarak bought this saree for me. jethalal praises Taarak.

Anjali talks to them and leaves from their house. jethalal asks Dayaben to give him the Kachoris which Anjali brought for them. Babita and Iyer come in the society. Anjali stops them and says Taarak gave me this saree as surprise gift. Babita says its suiting you, its beautiful. The couple see Anjali wearing the saree and are shocked. They tell Anjali thats its their saree. Anjali says what, how can this be. The lady says its mine. Babita says what do you mean. Anjali says how can it be , my husband gave me this saree as a surprise gift. Anjali says wait, I will call my husband.

Everyone come out and see the argument going on. They think whats going on and come in the compound to find out. Anjali says who are you and how dare you tell me this saree is yours. Everyone talk in favor of Taarak and scold the couple. Anjali says its my surprise gift. The man says our bags got exchanged. We came here by so much difficulty. Bhide explains jethalal what they said. Dayaben says then what did Taarak buy as a surprise. The man says we have your shopping bag. Anjali takes the bag and opens the gift. She is happy to get a diamond watch and shows everyone. Everyone like the watch. Dayaben says its more costly than this saree. Anjali apologizes to the couple. Anjali says come to my house, I have to return your saree. Someone comes and asks for Taarak Mehta.
