The one who will overcome all fears will win Khatron Ke Khiladi – Rajneesh Duggall

Television shows might not always seem to be the best choice for Bollywood stars to get into, but when it comes to getting a chance to do some kick ass action, they are always game for it.

And this is what made the handsome and sexy model turned-actor Rajneesh Duggall opt for Colors’ latest season of Khatron Ke Khiladi (KKK) produced by Endemol India.

We spoke to Rajneesh before he took off to South Africa to shoot for the show.

Read on to know what he has to say about the show and his fears and phobias.

“There have been talks of me doing some shows on TV, but I was waiting for something really interesting to come my way. And with KKK there was no reason why I would not say yes. The superb action on KKK made me take it up; there was no way I could let go this unique opportunity to be a part of such a mind-blowing show. And with such a vast list of popular celebrities associated with the show, you can well imagine how big the show is,” exclaimed the actor.

When asked what does ‘Fear’ mean to him, Rajneesh, who made his debut in films with 1920, averred, “I think it’s all in your mind. The more you think about it, the more it will haunt you. So I guess one should just keep a clear mind which will help them overcome all their fears. Especially in a competition like this, having a strong mind is a must. Also there should be a balance between physical and mental strengths.”

So who does he think holds a chance to win the competition? “As I told you earlier, the competition is more to do with mental strength; hence I feel that everyone has a good chance. According to me, Niketan, Mugdha, Salman and Gauahar have a strong chance to come out as winners. But at the end, every contestant will have their different fears and strengths. So I feel the one who can overcome all these fears will win,” Rajneesh observed.

He further went on to say, “When I got the show, I was excited. But since I am a strict vegetarian, the first question I asked them (the makers) was would I have to eat insects and reptiles as part of the competition. When they told me that they aren’t including stunts which will have anything to do with gulping them down, I sighed with relief. And now I am all set to give my best in the show,” said the women charmer.

On his expectations of being part of Khatron Ke Khiladi, he said, “Well I want to win the show. I participated in Mr. India, and won it, then took part in Mr. International and by the grace of God won there too. This is the third competition I am taking part in and being a sportsman I am surely going to give my best to win the show as I always play to win,” summed up a confident looking Rajneesh.

This season of Khatron Ke Khiladi goes on air from 22 March at the weekend slot of 9 PM.
