TV is losing its originality by running after TRPs: Neil Bhatt

TV heartthrob Neil Bhatt, who is seen as Laxman in Zee TV’s Ramayan (Moti Sagar Productions), shares a great bonding with his co-actors, especially with Gagan Malik.

On his close bonding with the actor, Neil states, “Yes, Gagan and I share a brotherly bonding. We get along with each other very well. We like each other’s company and always help each other.”

Ask him about the much-talked about mytho series not garnering TRPs, and Neil immediately explains his thought process. “First of all, I don’t believe in TRPs. I have a different mindset towards it. I don’t understand why channels are behind TRPs. Few units all over India cannot decide what people like to watch on television and whether the show is a hit or not. If that is the scenario, people will not come all the way from other cities to Baroda to meet us. Fans from Dehradhun and Orissa come to meet me. Aged people come and touch my feet. I think all that matters for us is their love and blessing.”

He continues, “I think channels should remove this TRP funda. TV is losing its originality by running after TRPs.”

On the personal front, the actor tells us about his relationship status, “Who does not want to date? It is just that I am busy the whole day and do not get any time for personal life.”

On the girl he wants as his life partner, Neil categorically says, “We both should gel well. She should be supportive and understanding. I know I am sounding clichéd, but if I ask you the same question I bet I would get the same reply from you. I belong from a simple family. My mom keeps enquiring about marriage, but I don’t want to think about it at this point of time.”

All the best, Neil!!!
