&TV’s The Voice India Kids open to impressive numbers

Indian television content has evolved over the years and currently it is witnessing some gripping and intriguing plots and formats across GECs.

&TV (AndTV), a channel which popped a year ago, has been experimenting in its fiction and non-fiction line up. And guess what? It has hit gold with its latest offering, The Voice India Kids (Endemol).

The toddler singing reality show beamed its initial couple of episodes last week and gave the channel its highest ever opening numbers.

Yes, the children sang their way into the hearts of people and garnered an impressive figure of 1.5 TVR (Sat and Sun).

The creative and marketing camp at &TV were jubilant with the achievement and celebrations hit the floor soon after the numbers were announced.

It’s interesting that the kids scored over heavy Bollywood punch, 24 on Colors. 24 and Voice India Kids are pitted against each other at the same weekend slot and the initial bout has been clearly won by the kids. Let’s see who wins the coming rounds in time to come.
