The Episode starts with Ishita getting the idea of DNA test. She says Raman will be satisfied that Ruhi is his daughter, its tough to get Raman’s hair sample. She sees Raman combing and says superb. Raman throws the hair in the dustbin. Ishita sees no hair in the comb. Raman asks what are you doing. She says I m seeing this hair brush. He says its mine, don’t touch it. Ishita says I have to put my hand in this dustbin for Raman’s sake. She says I m doing this for Ruhi, so I have to. Mrs. Bhalla sees Ishita getting Raman’s hair. Ishita is happy getting the hair. Mrs. Bhalla asks what are you doing. Ishita makes excuses. Mrs. Bhalla says don’t lie, whose hair are these, you won’t be able to fool me. She says you are doing blackmagic on Raman. She asks the maid to take the dustbin and clean the room in every one hour.
She leaves. Ishita says now I have to do this work carefully. Mihir asks Raman why are you working in so much pain. Raman continues working. Rumi tells everyone about the carrom event in the society. Rinki asks Raman to participate. Raman scolds Rumi. Rumi leaves annoyed. Mihir says the plan will flop if Raman does not agree. He says what will I say Mihika. Raman is watching tv at night. Ishita is waiting for him to sleep so that she can pluck his hair. Raman turns off the lights and sleeps. Ishita gets up and goes to him. He turns. She gets on the bed and gets over him. Raman wakes up and is shocked to see on him. He says are you mad. She says I was checking you swelling. He gets up and leaves.
Its morning, Ishita cleans the bed and gets hair on the pillow. She gets happy and says I got it. She puts the hair in a small packet. She says I got Ruhi’s nail sample yesterday and now his hair, DNA will be done. Mrs. Bhalla asks Ishita where is she going. Ishita says I have an emergency in my clinic. Mrs. Bhalla says fine. Ishita leaves. She calls the doctor and tells him that she wants a DNA test to be done. He asks about whom. She says Raman Kumar Bhalla. He says he came to us before for the DNA test and went back at last moment. Sge says everything is ok. This is confidential, please give the report only to me. I want the results soon. He says it will get 3-4 days for the results but I will tell you tomorrow. She thanks him.
She prays and smiles. Mihir calls Mihika and says no one is interested in the event. Mihika says let me think. Mihir says talk to Ishita. Mihika says I will. He ends the call. Mihika says Ishita has to say yes. Ishita comes to Amma and brings vegetables. She asks Amma to make Sambar in evening. Mihika tells Ishita about carrom competition. The Bhallas also discuss about it. Mrs. Bhalla says Raman wil go from our house. Mihika asks Ishita to go from their house. Amma says you have to play from our side and don’t let the Bhallas win. Ishita says fine, I will reach at 4pm. Raman says I won’t play. Everyone try to convince him. Raman says I m stressed, I can’t. He leaves. Ishita comes to him and sees him upset.
Mihir talks to Mr. Bhalla. Mr. Bhalla says Raman is not agreeing. Mihir says Ishita is ready to play from Iyers side. Mihir says this is the right way to lessen Raman’s stress. Mihir says you have to play carrom Raman. The event starts. Mrs. Bhalla praises Raman and asks Mr. Bhalla who will play from our side, please convince Raman. Raman is angry on his office staff and asks them to report to Mihir. Mihir asks Raman where are everyone. Raman says they went for stupid carrom competition. Rumi says Raman won’t come.
Ishita have the sambar made by Amma. Mihika asks her to eat fast and come with her. Mihir tells Mihika that Raman is not agreeing, what to do about him. Mihika says Ishita will challenge him. She says bring Raman here, I will see everything. Ishita is ready. Mihika asks will you win, as Raman is also playing and he will win as he was carrom champion in carrom. Ishita says I will see him. Ishita goes to Raman and challenges Raman for the carrom competition. Raman says all the best. Mihir smiles. Raman says crazy woman. Mihir says how can she talk like this, why is Ishita playing from Iyers side, you have to do anything. Raman says you are talking like saas bahu, stop it. He says I have to show her today, lets go.

March 07, 08:07In Star Plus’ Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Mihika gets an idea & she instigates Ishita by saying that Raman had commented that woman are bad players and that he can win over them easily. Ishita is infuriated and approaches Raman and challenges him for the game. Raman couldn’t resist but accepts this match and finally they both play against each other. Raman wins the game and comments that see I told you that I will win this game & then Ishita says that in real sense I have & I can prove that upstairs. Raman goes up to his room & looks around but can’t find anything.
Just then Ishita walks in & shows him the DNA result. Raman is shocked, thrilled and very emotional to see the result which states that Ruhi is his child. All the moments of Ruhi flash through his mind. Raman is overwhelmed to see the report & he wants to thank Ishita, but doesn’t know how to say, and before he could utter a word, Ishita fires him for being so stupid and rude to Ruhi. Next morning Mrs Bhalla reaches Shagun’s house where Tanushree has organized Shagun’s interview.
Mrs Bhalla disturbs this whole thing & asks for Aditya. Shagun tells her that he has left for the hostel and Ashok calls for the guard to throw Mrs Bhalla out. Just then Raman comes there with the DNA report, throws it on his face and warns him, tells him to stop playing such petty games, else he will be burnt to ashes. Shagun and Ashok are taken aback.
On his way back home, Raman meets Mr Iyer in the building & he gets to know that its his wedding anniversary tomorrow. Raman tells him that if he really wants to know if his wife still loves him then he should allow her to gift him first. At the same time , Ishita tells her mother that she must not do anything special for Appa rather see what he gifts you. Mr Iyer & Mrs Iyer keep waiting till the middle of the night to get gifts but no one approaches first in their own cute ego.
In the morning, Mr and Mrs Iyer have a cute tiff and argument, which is solved when Ishita comes and makes them patch up, she gets to know how Raman had manipulated Mr, Iyer and calls up to take Raman’s case. Raman is in a board meeting with foreign clients so he has to act all sweet and love dovey while Ishita is taking his case. Mr Bhalla announces that the whole family is invited for the anniversary pooja in the evening at Iyer house, and Mrs Bhalla takes out the old gift and repacks that for them. In the evening everyone reaches Iyers. Ishita is about to leave her house, when she coughs Raman comes and sees there is no water so he gives her a bottle of coke unaware that the coke is spiked with rum by Mrs. Bhalla. Ishita gulps the bottle down.
