Abhay Shankar to enter SAB TV’s Lapataganj

The very talented Abhay Shankar will be seen as a corrupt politician in SAB TV’s Lapataganj (Garima Productions) soon.

It will so happen that members of Lapataganj will decide to have a fair on a certain land owned by the government. However Abhay’s character, Netaji will not give them permission for the same. He will want to keep the land for himself because of his certain hidden agendas.

When contacted, he said, “Yes, I have begun shooting for the same. It’s an interesting role.”

Furthermore he will also be a part of Anu Damini, an upcoming show on Doordarshan. In the same he will essay the role of a South Indian called Prabhakaran.

The show, in which Abhay will essay a permanent character, will air from 31 March 2014.
