After daayan, ‘Shaitan’ to enter in ‘Sasural Simar Ka’..!

The show ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ is introducing supernatural characters to and fro in the on-going track with currently the daayan track building up.

To bank on the viewers’ love with supernatural characters, the makers have roped in another actor to play a pivotal role.

Actor Ali Hussain who is best known for his roles in ‘Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii’ and ‘Mahabharat’ is set to play the role of ‘Shaitan’ in the show.

The actor has been off the screen for quite a long time and makes his comeback after a hiatus.

We contacted Ali, who confirmed, “Yes, I will be playing the role of Shaitan in the upcoming track of ‘Sasural Simar Ka’. It is an out-an-out negative character, but the way it is portrayed and presented is amazing.”

He added, “The audience is in love with the genre of supernatural and I think that is great. Some of the number one shows on television belong to this genre and ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ is a big show. It is amongst one of the leading shows on television currently, so when I was approached for the role and everything materialised, I grabbed the opportunity.”

On being asked about the hiatus, he said, “That was something of a voluntary decision. I wanted to take some time off to work on a couple of things. In that period there were some offers and things didn’t work out for one reason or another. But, this worked out perfectly and it was showtime again.”

About the role and future projects, he said, “Currently it is intended to be a track role, a cameo for about 3-4 months, but things will be decided after the response to the role. I hope it is liked and appreciated by the fans.”

He added, “After that, I have some plans going on with a couple more things. I will talk about it when the time is right. There is a show on DD which should be happening soon.”
