Anupriya Kapoor, who rose to fame by playing the character of Taani in Balaji Telefilms’ Tere Liye on Star Plus’ might get back to television very soon.

The actress might be seen playing a pivotal role in Siddharth Kumar Tewari’s ambitious upcoming project Mahabharat.

Our sources informed us that, “Anupriya Kapoor has been approached to play the role of Draupadi in Mahabharat. Anupriya has given the look tests and done some of the mock shoots few days back but things are yet to be finalized.”

When we contacted Anupriya Kapoor, she confirmed the news saying, “Yes, I have been approached for the show.”
