Bandhan to start from 16th Sept 2014; takes Ek Mutthi Aasman slot
Bandhan will take Ek Mutthi Aasman’s time slot of 7pm from 16th September 2014.
That means it will most likely be curtains on Ek Mutthi Aasman. Despite making drastic changes and changing the leads, nothing went right for Ek Mutthi Aasman as its ratings kept falling without the main stars of the show, Rachana Parulkar and Aashish Chaudhary.
We often think fans have no impact on any TV channel, but here perhaps, it’s loyal fans’ nonstop negative feedback lead to closure of the show.
Asha Negi and Kunal Verma tried their best to fill the absence of Rachana Parulkar and Aashish Chaudhary, but it seems like they were not able to impress the audience. We wish both Asha Negi and Kunal Verma better luck for their future projects.

September 10, 22:26I did not need a crystal ball to see that EMA would come to an abrupt end. I knew it! It was only a matter of time. The writing was on the wall. There was no hope for this show. I stopped watching the show on July 31st (Ashna’s/Ragna’s last day). The writers made a mess of this show, which had so much potential. They had to be a bunch of idiots, creatively bankrupt or creatively suicidal. The story was going really well until the idiotic, inconsistent, porous “wedding fiasco/revenge” storyline that never materialized. This nonsensical twist in the storyline was just an insult to each viewer’s intelligence. It was supposed to be a Gauri/Kapoor revenge, but it became a Pakhi/Kalpi revenge. What was the point in that? More air time for Pakhi and less for Kalpi? The best thing about the show was RAGNA – this couple had an amazing, awesome chemistry and gave outstanding performances. They were the soul of the show. Viewers tuned in just to watch them. The show’s ratings plummeted because of the nonsensical twist in the storyline, but the writers and producers decided to make Rachana a scapegoat by replacing her with Asha. To add insult to injury they had the nerve to say that they were not happy with her performance. These people have no integrity whatsoever! Aashish Chaudhary earned my respect when he quit the show. From what my friends tell me the storyline got even worse after the exit of RAGNA. Smart teams use their strengths to their advantage, yet this team decided to get rid of the strongest actors (ASHNA) and best storyline (RAGNA’s love story) and focussed on their weaker characters and storylines. Worst of all they totally ignored the ideas, suggestions and criticisms of the viewers. Let this be a lesson to them!

Rather than changing the script n CVS they changed Ashna , Ashish n Rachana their desperate attempt has back fired !!! Hope to see Ashish n Rachana back as pair in another show soon !!! Amen !!

September 01, 15:43Very true EMA ended on 31st July for all ASHANA N RAGANA fans. Those EMA actors who said EMA was not about Ashish n Rachana only, I hope by now you have realized that yes Ashish n Rachana were the soul of EMA, without them you could not survive for a month forget about the Thousand episodes, if only you and DJ’s Creative team would let go off you EGO, you would be celebrating EMA second bash party instead of your exit. Very, very sad.

September 01, 14:41Honestly the show was d best with raghav n Kalpi the original crew, they never completed this story properly. They suppose to show us Kalpi being a successful business owner n buying paakhi condo, remember it was her dream when she started school, this was never accomplish, they never show the new Rabhav or him finding back Kalpi, thought they wanted to get rid of Rachna and concentrate on Paakhi but it look as if d entire paakhi n crew left the show as well. Do sad to see a great show ended on such notice because it had a great story line in the beginning

September 01, 12:08Some of the Ema actors said that Ema was not just about Ashish & Rachna only….that their acting was important too…but one thing they need to realise is that supportive actors are indeed there to support and can’t take lead roles…no matter how good an actor you may auto claim to be….and over and above if the writers give you crap script, you are sure to be doomed….
Proof again that Ragna was the heart beats of EMA,….you can’t survive long with an artificial one, can you now???
They, the writers and some very stupid actors even admitted “they couldn’t and wouldn’t reunite Ragna as they believed that after their reunion there wouldn’t be much of EMA….and now what has become of EMA is absolute crap beyond imagination. You writers, supporting actors, producers are the main culprit for the doom of EMA. Had Ragna been reunited, at least if EMA had to end then it would have had a glorious end…..but now EMA will be remembered for its dramatic doom…
And yes writers and producers, nobody could be more dumbo than you for having ignored the viewers prayers, pleads, crying, begging…….so that in the end you only had to bear their disappointment, which turned into anger and lastly being utterly and completely disgusted they all decided to come together and IGNORE AND GIVE UP EMA, which led to its expected doom…
LESSON TO BE LEARNED BY YOU: –
LEARN TO RESPECT YOUR ACTORS…THEY ARE NOT MERE DOLLS THAT YOU CAN PULL AROUND AT YOUR OWN EGOISTICAL TUNES. THEY ARE PEOPLE WITH FEELINGS. HURT THEM AND BE SURE THAT YOU WILL BE HURT BILLION TIMES MORE AS THEY HAVE MILLIONS OF SUPPORTERS..
RESPECT VIEWERS OPINION. YOU HAVE GOT A LEARNED CROWD AS VIEWERS SO SPARE US FROM CRAPS WRITING AND SCENARIOS. GONE IS THE TIME OF OVER DRAMATIC DRAMAS. PEOPLE HAVE LITTLE TIME TO SPARE WHEN JUGGLING BETWEEN FAMILY RESPONSIBILITY, WORK, STUDIES AND SO ON, SO WHAT WE WANT IS SOME HAPPY SCENARIOS, SOME GOOD ROMANCE, DREAMS, SMILES AND LAUGHTER AND DEFINITELY NOT ‘SAAS AND BAHU SCENARIOS’…

This is the best news I have heard. When they dismissed Rachana and Ashish, they thought they made a great move and now look who is having the last laugh.

September 01, 11:26Iam glad that EMA is going off air.The show died on the day of Rachana and Ashish’s exit.Rachana and Ashish were the soul of EMA.They rocked EMA as Kalpi and Raghav. Replacing original kalpi and raghav was the dumpiest decision made by the channel and PH.The PH did not even bother to give a happy ending to Kalpi and Raghav’s story.Feeling bad for Asha Negi. Asha when you select next show think before you sign the contract no matter how desperate you are to come back to screen.Other wise its going to cost you a lot like EMA.
