Punar Vivah 2 22nd August 2013 Written Episode
Scene 1:
Location: In the jewellery
Raj and sarita come to shop for engagement rings. He asks sarita to selecet while he goes to tend to something. She is shown various rings by the shopkeeper. She is howevere tensed. Raj comes back and asks her to select one. Sarita says that it would look beautiful on div ya. Raj says that this isnt for divya but for her. she is tensed. raj takes her hand and puts the ring on her finger. seeing her tensed, raj asks why is she so tensed, and that she shoulod smile more often. He selects a bracelet for her. Sarita asks him to take care of the price. she is shocked at the price list, but raj counters by saying that its her punar vivah and he would get his wishful gift. Sarita sees a ring and says that this ring is like the one her father chose for her marriage with raj. raj comes back and asks if he has selected. Raj sees one and says that this would suit vikrant. The shopkeer asks for sarita’s fiancee’s hand size. sarita tries to see by placing it on raj’s finger, but he stops her saying that this is for vikrant and not him. she gets tensed and leaves. raj too goes after her, asking the shopkeeper to pack both.
Sarita is distraught and in tears, when she remembered the shop incident. raj sneaks from behind, and composes her. She turns around, and he wipes her tears, and asks why is she crying. He says that he knows that she’s in tension and is trying to hide. He asks her to bare out her heart, or else it would be too late, and he doesnt want her to be sad for what he doesnt know. She says that she truly cant hide this anymore, and has to say it. But then changes her mind and says that she’s just nervous about her marriage. He assures her that her life would be filled with happiness. she says what if this relation only has ego and pride. He asks her not to doubt the big happiness thats coming along her way. He says that he understands her fear and pain, and why is she unable to trust him, and thats due to himself, as what happened to her ten years back, when her dreams and her aspirations were crushed, in this house and she got nothing but pain. He says that she’s scared that hsitory might repeat itself. He assures her that she would get all the happiness and respect that he couldnt give her, and confirms that she would be very happy with him. She says that he’s happy with him and this house too, and doesnt want to leave. She says that she will miss every member of this family for its uniqueness. She says that she finds happiness in being with him, and that he can get divya in this house, and she would be in one corner of the house and not say anything. Raj hugs her and says that he would be by her side every step of this new relation and monitor vikrant if he’s fulfilling his promise. He again assures her that she would be happy with vikrant. He asks her to smile, and be hapy. He takes her along to finish their work in the market.
Raj and sarita continue their shopping and shop for clothes, complimenting her on her looks. Vikrant comes and decides the dress for sarita’s engagement. She gets tensed, while vikrant tells the abhimaan wanted him to shop for his new mother. vikrant is taken aside by raj to talk for some time. Sarita is given the phone to talk to abhimaan in the meantime. raj tells vikrant that sarita is very nervous, as she’s leaving the house and her too. sarita sees them from far behind. Raj tells vikrant that since Sarita is living in his house for 10 years, she has developed some attachment to it and gone habituated to it. Raj again asks if he would keep sarita exteremely happy. Vikrant says that the husband who’s giving up his wife, is caring a little too much. raj says that he has given her so much pain and torture, that he wants her to be happy now, and that much she deserves and he Vikrant asks point blank whether its attachment or love. raj is speechless and stunned at this. vikrant says that he is a businessman and wants a profitable deal. Raj tels that he shouldnt com pare relation and business, and the reason that he is saying is because they are very good friends and not in love and that they both want to start afresh. Vikrant says that he would keep her happy as long as she keeps abhimaan happy. Sarita comes and asks if they were talking about her. Both say yes. Raj goes to clear the shopping and pay off the bills. Sarita gives the phone to vikrant.
Raj tells the shopkeeper to pack the dress that she has selected but vikrant comes and says that he has selected something else for sarita, and thats what she is going to be wearing tomorrow. They grow tensed. Vikrant says that this is much better that what raj selected for her. Raj is upset but doesnt say anything.
Scene 2:
location: In the market
Shiela says that she doesnt want to shop, but the other sisters insist her to. They surf through clothes and start commenting. shiela says that she isnt interested in the engagement or the clothes. But the other sisters insist her to. They decide to send her off the change, and go and surf the other clothes. They also inform shiela about the same. As shiela comes out, she is face to face with guru. He silences her by muffling her sounds with his hand. Rohan’s lookalike comes to shiela and says that this is his workplace and asks her not to create a drama here as its his first day. But shiela doesnt listen anything and createa hue and cry. Guru tries to explain that this is his job profile, and he was just doing his job. But the ladies ask him to shut up, and the shopkeeper throws him out of the job. He leaves resignedly. The other shopkeepers too think that this was his first day and he needed money. unable to find what to believe, shiela decides to tell this to raj and the family.
Scene 3:
Location: Jagotia’s residence
Shiela and the sisters hurriedly tell sohan and granny what they encountered inj the market. She tells every thing. soham is worried as to how come rohan is out of his captivity. Soham decides to go to the police. Granny asks them to wait and let raj come and then decide whats to be done, as they shouldnt do anything hasty.
When raj and sarita return home, they are shocked to hear about rohan. He asks to clear elaborately. They tell everything. sarita remembers his mother’s threats to her. sarita says that now she understands that when she met his mother, why did she seem so carefree. raj asks why didnt she tell him. Soham and raj agree that money must have gotten rohan out of jail. raj offers to go to the jail. shjiela and sarita too tag along. The screen freezes on soham’s tensed face.
Precap: In the jail, raj and shiela and sarita re shocked to see roham behind the bars. Rohan too is surprised to see them there. He says that this punishment would be over in some days and when he is out once, he would have his revenge on all of them. They are all tensed.

August 23, 01:45I think Raj is an epitome of selfish love – he only thought of Sarita’s remarriage when he got back Divya as an option for a life-partner. All those years when he didn’t know if Divya would return, he was least interested in Sarita’s life being wasted by him and on him. Now whatever he does for her would be too little too late. Also, he makes a public spectacle of Sarita’s plight on every public platform. For eg. when he went for audition, there was absolutely no reason for him to speak about his personal life. He could have avoided answering those questions saying it was personal. People take break all the time – family responsibilities, other commitments etc. If he was found good enough by the jury, no one would bother too much about the gap in his resume.
Marriage is sacred – people say. I agree. In fact I would go a step further and say every relationship is, by definition, sacred be it that of husband-wife, parent-child, siblings, or even friends. But the relationship remains holy if and only if there is enough respect given to it by the people involved. There are parents out there who abuse their children, siblings / friends who murder, cheat each other. Similarly there are spouses who do not respect their marriage – in that case, marriage is no longer sacred but an unholy, sick alliance that only ends up tying and torturing the other person involved. And such relationships should not thrive.
I don’t have a very definite opinion about Vikrant as haven’t read the WU’s of all the recent episodes. Planning to catch up soon. But based on what I read, he appears to be an extremely successful, complex person who is also extremely rude. He loves his kid, is paranoid about his safety but is struggling (a lot) with being a single parent to him. I have seen a close friend (male) trying to be a good parent to his kid while trying to cope with his wife’s illness (she’s been very sick for an year or so, God bless them) and I know it’s difficult. As the sole bread winner, dividing time between work he needs and the child who needs him is really tough. So, I won’t judge Vikrant too soon. But yes, before he thinks of marrying Sarita, he has to learn to respect her. And if the marriage is only for the kid, he can hire her as his kid’s governess – that way his kid would be reasonably looked after.
I really wish Sarita staying alone is explored as an option. But then, more than “what Sarita deserves”, it becomes a question of “what Sarita wants”. I don’t know why but it hasn’t even occured to Sarita that her PV is not a requirement for Raj’s PV. She can simple divorce him, give him the freedom he wants / needs and then carry on her life as she wants – there’s no need to rush into another unwanted (from her side) marriage.

August 23, 01:39I like the Vikrant and Sarita chemistry. I think Sarita should start respecting herself and realize Raj did not respect her for 10 years. It is a long time. Somethings in life are not meant to be. Sarita should realize her own worth.
The other thing is she has no problem telling Vikrant what she wants and how she feels. There is something to be said for that.

August 23, 01:40Well in my opinion, none of the men deserves her. Both are abusive in their own way. Raj failed to give her right as wife , so he doesn’t deserve her. As for Vikrant, I don’t like him because of his rude , verbal abusive behavior to her. I don’t understand how a man behave so rude with a stranger, specially a woman. I feel he is a mentally unstable, hot tempered man. Sarita already spent 10 years of life on Raj, she doesn’t need to spend another 10 years on Vikrant to fix his emotional problem. So I find both of them are worthless for Sarita.
I prefer Sarita to be with a man who is free from mental garbage. If she can’t find one, she should stay alone , become independent and enjoy her life ( a woman doesn’t need a man to enjoy her life ).

marriage is not a kids play. cv’s should show that . it is pretty much required to show a marriage is a life time relationship in this generation as ppl getting divorced as it is a simple thing like eating a papad ..
if every married person has to get back to their love, then thr is no one in this world would stay together with no divorce … the show must go on …that is called life rather hanging onto past. if they knew they can never able to move on they shuldn’t get marry in first place …coz they r gonna ruin someone’s life in the process of making them happy.
cv will definitely need divya’s character to spice up things in future.but def i dont want to see her negative as she is such a good soul Smile

August 23, 01:35I seriously dont get this by any sense!! First of the show begins with this guys who is in love with divya and still in love or been in love for 10 yrs even after being married. Which is quiet impossible to not to touch or love your wife within 10 yrs. and ok even if its true then what has happened now? He doesnt even think of diviya? Not talking to her is understandable but now he is lost somewhere else all of a sudden? Not liking this concept at all…
They should’ve never showed something impossible like that before to begin with… And now whole diviya character is disappeared like there was no diviya at all… Poor concept

August 23, 01:34I am having second thoughts on whether or not I should watch the show after Eijaz Khan leaves. It is not totally because I ship Vikrant-Sarita, but also because Raj-Sarita simply does not make sense to me.
Reasons being :
1. If Raj was so caring and sympathetic like he is now then where was his concern in those 10 years ? Why did he take Sarita for granted for 10 years ? He didn’t even treat her like a friend let alone a life partner. I don’t understand how anyone in this world can do that to his wife for 10 years.
2. 10 years is not a short period of time. Normally, people accomplish a LOT of things in a decade and go through many amazing experiences no matter how many problems they have. Sarita hasn’t received any happiness in those 10 years. Should she happily accept Raj after waiting for 10 years ?
3. This situation is just not realistic. I realize that the title included ( Nayee Umeed, New Hope) but could have shown many different stories based on the ” Nayee Umeed” concept. This story is just not endearing enough with a selfless woman and a man who took 10 years to love or express his love to a woman who lived with him under one roof.
4. I feel that if Raj-Sarita happens, it will be just another tale of an unrealistic, sacrifiicing woman who has heaps of patience to tolerate injustice. We see too much of that on TV anyway. I’m afraid it will give some women the idea that as long as you love a man , you should take him back whenever he wants to come back to you and ignore the fact that you wasted a big chunk of your life waiting for him.

Why can’t they show Sarita with a perfect guy to give Raj real competition? Why does Sarita get all the losers?
Even today she was like you can get remarried to Raj. I just want to live in some corner of the house. First of all she should respect herself.
Love or marriage should not be based on extremes but a genuine respect and attraction. I thought it was called Nayi Umeed. It would be nice if they showed Vikrant possessive enough to invade Raj’s space. They are engaged, no fianc is going to like them living together. And Sarita could learn to see what it is like to be genuinely like by a husband. So she understands the difference between Raj’s caring and love.
No matter how nice Raj is, ten years is really to much.

August 23, 00:45I our daily life we keep seeing the same people around us day in and day out… we may go on being mere acquaintance’s only or become friends with them if we put in effort from our side. This is what happened here… Raj and Sarita lived together for 10 year… Sarita tried to break the ice but eventually gave up because she found that Raj didn’t event want to put any effort in their marriage… he was too caught up in Divya to even think about another love or for that matter a ‘compromise love’… but when circumstances lead to Raj and Sarita speaking to each other… when Raj put in the effort to understand Sarita, he realised that they are compatible and can be friends… Raj still has Divya in his heart this makes him hold himself back…Sarita has made a little place in his heart but his mind still rules his heart which says hello… Divya still owns the major part of your heart!
Therefore I feel that Rajs inconsistent behaviour stems from the fact that he knows he loves Divya but is attracted to Sarita which he thinks is friendly concern for her… his attraction for Sarita thus sometimes makes him cross the line and his love for Divya pulls him back.

He is just a second away frm realising the fact. . Sarita, who spent her valuable 10 years only by keeping love for him in her heart is deserving raj much more than divya who left hm 10 years ago . . Raj is nt a dump person. Bt he is considering hs first love as hs life. I admire hm for that. . But he should realise that the person who loves hm deserves hm more than the persn he love. .

if u ask me ill say its fully rajs fault, ofcourse divya left him for career but if he was really in love with her he shldnt have married saritha eventhough its due to family pressure, if we say he married sarithas for the sake of their parents he should have forgetten divya before marrying saritha, he isnt true for both of them, he is not stable
as u said all girls love her husband even they are whttype, they would hv attachment towards them mostly in their first marriage,
since the cvs have quit divya does that mean she doesnt love raj, jst watch the earlier episodes thouroughly u can get how both raj and divya’s love is.
i could say fully that rajs feeling towards saritha is a feeling which has arosen due to his guilty feeling, its not a full hearted love,
pls dont show scenes like these, raj deserves divya and saritha deserves vikranth
