Chandragupta Maurya to be back on television?
Imagine’s Chandragupta Maurya might finds its way back on TV with Sony TV and Rajat Tokas has been approached to play the main lead..
Grapevine is buzzing with news of Imagine’s Chandragupta Maurya getting back on TV with Sony TV channel. The latest development is that Rajat Tokas has been approached to play the main lead.
According to our source, “Chandragupta Maurya’s makers Sagar Arts and 72 Degrees North have been making efforts to bring the show on another channel and finally the buzz is that the Sony TV is ready to take up the show. Ashish Sharma will no more be part of the show. The production house has approached Rajat Tokas to play the main lead.”
We contacted Rajat Tokas but he was unavailable for any comments but we managed to speak with his mother who told Tellybuzz, “It’s too early to comment as people talk about many things but then they don’t materialize.”
Seems like our industry is going through a time period when nothing seems to be sure! In fact lately many contracts have been signed and then shows scraped, so no wonder Rajat’s mother seems to be unsure.

this serial tell us about unity and still after independence we indians are not united. watching this serial is not sufficient until we take a lesson from this serial. the conditions are more or less same. we need to unite ourself against today’s politics, corruption, terrorism, and many other issues related to our country. we are the youth and we have to decide our country future. the fact is very much known to all of us that we are behind from many countries on many areas and whenever someone says this fact, then we put our values in front of us as a defense shield, but the fact is known to everyone. now we, those people who have concern about maa bharti , should take an initiative to deal with our country problems. so everyone who is reading this msg. should take some or other steps to deal with the sins at his own level. do whatever you can do for your country not wait for others to help you. thanks.. jai hind jai maa bharti
we have got used to Ashish Varma being our fav. Chandragupt Maurya. It will be difficult to switch over to Rajat Tokas as Chandragupta Maurya.
Why these changes are happening and when it will be telecast in Sony TV? Is there gonna be an end to this long wait? We would prefer the old Chandragupta Maurya with all the same actors without any change.
