Cinestars Ki Khoj fame Meenu Panchal to enter Sony PAL’s Singhasan Battisi

Dheeraj Kumar’s Singhasan Battisi on Sony PAL has lived up to its expectations of being a one-of-its-kind show on TV with a mythological/historical/fantasy-based genre.

With the ‘Mitrata’ plot getting opened up which will focus on the friendship of King Vikramaditya (Karan Suchak) and Betaal (Abhaas Mehta), the coming story will talk about Raja Bhoj’s challenge that will shake up his friendship with his close friend Raja Aditya Raj.

Young and budding actress Meenu Panchal who gained name and recognition as the first runner-up of the recently held India’s Best Cinestars Ki Khoj will be seen playing a crucial role in this sub-plot. The girl was also seen in Season 2 of Dance India Dance.

As per sources, Meenu will play the role of Chandramukhi, a vishkanya who would trap Raja Bhoj’s (Siddharth Arora) best friend King Aditya in her love trap. She would be a court dancer of Raja Aditya, and would have come to his court as a gift from another king. However, Chandramukhi’s eyes would be on the wealth and kingdom of Raja Aditya.

And this time the task will be cut out for Raja Bhoj as he will have to put his friendship with Raja Aditya at stake to make him realize that he has fallen into a trap.

Will Raja Bhoj be successful in saving his ‘Mitrata’?

When contacted, Meenu confirmed the news stating, “Yes, I am presently shooting for Singhasan Battisi. I play a dancer who would get too close to Raja Bhoj’s friend.”

As reported exclusively, Rajesh Khera who was roped in to play Betaal in this popular Creative Eye Limited show was replaced by Abhaas Mehta, after Khera shot for three days.
