Colors to come up with Naagin Season 2?

The one show that is creating ripples in the industry and also in the viewers’ minds is the #1 fantasy show Naagin (Balaji Telefilms) on Colors.

The show has succeeded to gain eyeballs from the time of its inception and will only grow strong and become a trendsetter in the days to come!!

Naagin which stars Mouni Roy, Arjun Bijlani and Adaa Khan is a finite series which is slated to end in few months. But now we have heard that due to the massive popularity of the show, the channel has decided to give it an extension. So instead of March, Naagin will now mostly air till this May.

Well, this is not the end of the dope!

There is a strong buzz of the show coming up with a Season 2. Yes, if sources are to be believed, the channel is already in plans for the next season and will have television hunk and Khamoshiyan actor Gurmeet Choudhary playing the lead.

We tried to probe further on the buzz, but could not get to any substantial confirmation.

We left a message to Gurmeet who replied stating, “It’s false news.”

Even the channel spokesperson and the lead of the show Arjun Bijlani remained unaware about the development.

We also tried reaching the production house, but they remained busy to comment.

Naagin truly has been a fascinating character last year with Sasural Simar Ka starting the trend, followed by Neeli Chhatri Wale. Currently Adhuri Kahani Hamari is also focussing on the ‘ichhadhari’ naagin track.

We will update you as and when we have more information on this.

The show naagin is a success due to Mouni Arjun nd Ada but if the channel is deciding for season 2 nd want new characters then taking puja Bose or sukirti kandpal or sonarika bhadoria as nagin in season 2 would b great

Why are all the popular shows so short? The flop shows last for a decade and the good ones end in like 6 months or a year :/ if they do make a season 2 it would be better if it had the current main leads! ( Arjun and Mouni)

I totally agree they should keep em if they r mking season 2 or the show will flop like Tere Sheher Mein when they decided to take Dhruv out and get Amu married to Rama the trps went low in a blink of the eye

If Naagin comes back with a season 2, we want Arjun Bijlani & Mouni Roy in lead roles like in the present one. Please no new cast or Gurmeet!! We want only Arjun and Mouni!! They’re best!! They’re a huge reason behind Naagin’s success and no one can deny it. One would be foolish to replace them and expect same popularity. Arjun Mouni rules!

exactly! and if u dont trust this CVs have a look in the past..see iss pyaar ko kya naam doon.. barun and sanaya are still loved and the second season with other leads flopped like anything! and now because of barun-sanaya popularity they came up with IPKKND- Ek Jashn…it too was a huuuuuuuuggggggggggeeeeeeeeee success…so if u planning for a season 2, learn from the mistakes of others and dont change the leads..
