Diya Aur Baati Hum 3rd October 2012 Written Update

Suraj is upset seeing Sandhya’s parents pic and remembering that incident. Ankur is emotional and speaking to Sandhya about her dreams. Though he has shattered her dream, he could see the glimpses of it still in Sandhya like when she saved the town from bomb explosion and DSP congratulated and placed his cap on her head. He tells her he will tell Suraj about her dream and also he is ready to beg Bhabho to allow her to fulfill the dream. Sandhya tries to comfort him and says she does not want to disturb the peace in the house and asks Ankur not to tell Suraj about her dream. Suraj comes there by then and asks them what dream, whose dream. Both are uncomfortable answering him and when Ankur tries to explain, Sandhya tells him they were remembering childhood events. She sees the photo in his hand and takes it. Suraj about to tell them that he has met their parents when phone rings. It is Bhabho and before he could tell anything, Bhabho is hears Sandhya’s voice talking to her brother and understands where Suraj is. She scolds him and asks him to bring plumber to the house for some repair.

Bhabho is very angry. Bhabhasa asks her the reason and tells her to change herself according to the times and it is okay if Suraj has gone to meet Sandhya. Bhabho tells him to cook lunch and she will cook dinner and tells in modern times, husband and wife both do house work. Bhabhasa is shocked and tells that society is not changed that much also. Bhabho asks Mohit to bring Chavvi home from college and he gives some excuses telling her to inform Suraj. Bhabho says she cannot as Suraj has gone to his in-laws house. Mohit mocks saying it is just hours Sandhya has gone and Suraj is already missing. Bhabho scolds him to just look at his work.

Meena is having a weird dream where she dreams herself being Maasa. Two ladies who are Meena’s (Maasa’s) DILs are cooking. Meena Maasa is commanding/scolding them like Bhabho, tells them to serve food for her and comments about ghee, etc. One of the DIL gives her ghee cup and the other one finds out that it is dalda and holds Meena Maasa’s hand. Meena Maasa gets angry and scolds her how could she hold her hand. In reality, Bhabho is holding Meena’s hand and Meena screaming how could she hold her hand and wakes up. She is startled to see Bhabho and jumps on the bed saying she was dreaming/sleeping. Bhabho gives her halwa and goes. Meena is happy with her dream and is thinking that she will have two baby boys, they will grow up and she will get two DILs and she will be having them serve her well.

Suraj returns to the shop. Pappuda informs him that he did a mistake that he had brought 5 L of milk and milk has curdled. Suraj says it is okay and a customer comes there ordering for 5 Kg of rasgullas by evening. Suraj assures him the order will be fulfilled. Bhabhasa who is sitting there tells Pappuda not to worry about the curdled milk as they have got order for rasgullas. He also says nothing happens in the world without any reason. Suraj is perplexed listening to this and asks Bhabhasa about it. Bhabhasa again tells him nothing happens in this world without any reason and somewhere they will be closed. He sees Suraj in thoughts and asks him if they could go out for some time if he is having any confusion. Suraj agrees and they both leave.

Sandhya is calling Chavvi to know about the exam. Chavvi just enters the house and attends Sandhya’s call. She is happy and tells she had done well. Sandhya is excited to know about this and tells her she will teach for the third year too. Chavvi asks her how will she teach third year lessons as she has just finished second year leaving Sandhya in thoughts.

Suraj and Bhabhasa at a park. Suraj describes the incident to Bhabhasa where he took Sandhya’s parents to the hospital and is puzzled as to out of so many people, why it had to be only Suraj who had to help them or take them to the hospital and what is the need for it. Bhabhasa tells him it is destiny and that Sandhya’s parents had seen their would-be son-in-law before their death and also reminds Suraj about bride’s name being wrongly printed on invitation card. Suraj agrees it is destiny but he is not convinced still whether his meeting his parents-in-laws just had to do with the marriage or it has something else significant.

Precap: Suraj in GG room is holding the pen which Sandhya’s father gave him before his death. He calls Sandhya and tells her he wanted to tell her about the thing that he learned that day, that is everything happens for a reason. Sandhya is concerned as Suraj is very emotional and she could not understand why and what he is talking about.
