Tejal’s dad offers dowry for Tejal’s marriage. Sanyukta rejects his offer saying she doesnt believe in these customs. Lalitaben is glad and tells about a ritual where the bride’s brother performs the “tilak” of his sister before engagement. But Tejal doesnt have any brother. Sushila assures her not to worry as Shaswat will perform Tejal’s brother’s role and do the “tilak” for Tejal.
Back at home, Sanyukta and Nikhilesh has a small fight which ends up challenging each other for the better arrangements of the wedding including decoration and food. Baa wills to be the supervisor and final decision maker.
Its 1 am. Nikhilesh comes to Binoy and informs Sanyukta and Sushila are fighting over someyhing. They go to stop the quarrel but finds out that the duo were fighting over a necklace. Nikhilesh taunts them and lightens the mood.
Shaswat comes and tells that the engagement cannot take place tomorrow. All are baffled. He reasons that the police has almost tracked the goon girl who attacked him. So he’ll be with the police the whole day tomorrow. Sanyukta tells him not to go with the police as they will do their duty. Sushila says him that he has to do Tejal’s “tilak” before the engagement. Shaswat agrees.
Next day at police station, Shaswat insists why th egirl is not yet caught. The officer tells she doesn’t have any previous criminal records. Suddenly he remembers something and calls up his friend in Surat an tells him to track the girl.
In MM, everything is decorated very beautifully. All guests are busy here and there. Sushila’s youngest brother informs that Tejal and her family has arrived. All gathers at the door. Sushila- Sanyukta welcomes Tejal inside. Foram calls up Tejal from the balcony. As Tejal looks up, she sees Aniket coming down. He looks gorgeous in his orange-red sherwani.
Sanyukta is tensed as Shaswat has not yet arrived and he also has to perform the tilak. Lalitaben tells Sanyukta not to get worried. Sanyukta calls up Shaswat. he tells that he is checking up with the doctor and will arrive soon.
Shaswat arrives to MM. All tell him to go and do the tilak. But Sanyukta tells him to go and get dressed first. Tejal suddenly spots Shaswat. She tries to have a clear look of him but cannot see him due to the curtains. Episode ends on Tejal’s face.
Precap: Police calls Shaswat and tells the girl who attacked him, her name is Tejal. And today is her engagement. Shaswat smells something fishy and is flabbergasted.
