Maanvi and Virat are thoughtful about the origin of the lipstick, and wonder to themselves about what could be going on
Viren gets a call from Riya who needs his help for some work. He goes off to meet and help her.
Maanvi is on her way to a florist to go and buy flowers for Virat. She’s on the phone with him. She’s surprised to see Viren there, and her surprise turns into shock when she sees him handing over a bouquet to Riya
As Viren and Riya are about to leave the florist’s, Maanvi calls Viren up who hangs up on her on the pretext of being stuck in a meeting. Maanvi is flabbergasted
Maanvi tells Virat about what she saw earlier, and says that she trusts Viren but she’s skeptical about Riya.
Maanvi convinces Jeevika and Viren to invite Riya and Sambhav over for dinner the next day. Viren calls Sambhav, who accepts the invitation
Sambhav arrives without Riya, saying that she has to meet a cousin. Viren and Jeevika are unperturbed, but Maanvi and Virat are doubtful
After dinner, Maanvi and Virat manage to get some time alone with Sambhav. Maanvi tries to get details out from Sambhav. In the conversation, he mentions that he’s been married only for 6 months. Virat-Maanvi are surprised regarding the timeline of his marriage and his wife’s supposed abortion
While Sambhav leaves, he tells Viren that he lied to Virat-Maanvi about the length of his wedding as he wanted to hide Riya’s illness
After a while, Sambhav calls Viren and asks him to go take care of Riya as he has to urgently meet a relative in the hospital

Precap: Viren mixes something in Riya’s drink, possibly barbiturates. As she collapses and falls faint, he picks her up in his arms and takes her inside the room.
