Ek Mutthi Aasman 3rd June 2014 Written Episode
Scene 1
Vitthal and Pakiya are worried for Kamla and Kalpi. They have not returned so far. Nettu is trying to listen their conversation. Nettu tells Sahil everything that kalpi might went to meet Raghav. Sahil is so happy to know that.
Scene 2
Pakhi comes with a chocolate cake. gauri humiliates her once again and says its better that you cut it alone. Ragahv does not like you. Pakhi is hurt. Gauri says wait I have a present fro you. Pakhi can’t believe this. Gauri comes with the present. She asks Pakhi to open it. When Pakhi opens it. Its some pirces of broken mirror. She asks what is this Gauri aunty ? Gauri says this is rest of your life. Your parents ruined my life like this and now you all will suffer in the same way. Pakhi looks at her shadow in the broken mirrors and is crying.
Scene 3
Nettu is packing her stuff. Kamla and Kalpi come in. Kalpi’s head is covered with a dupatta. Vitthal asks where were you ? Kamla trie to make some excuse. Vitthal smiles and says you should have tole me first. Nettu says look at Kalpi why she looks so depressed ? Kalpi goes in. Vitthal says stop for a moment. Kalpi stops. Vitthal turns her face towards him. Vitthal looks at her closely. Vitthal says whats wrong ? Kamla says nothing. Kalpi’s dupatta falls off. Kamla is trying har to handle everything. There is still some sindur in kalpi’s heard. Kamla sees it and turns off the light. Vitthal can see the tension in her actions clearly. He asks whats going on won’t you tell me ? Kamla says there is nothing to tell. kamla goes in the kitchen. Nettu is disapponited that things didn’t work out the way she wanted.
Scene 4
Ragav comes home. Pakhi has slept on the dinning table/. He comes and looks at her. He recalls how kalpi hugged him and all the moments he spent with kalpi earlier. Pakhi wakes up. He says Happy birthday. Gauri asks Ragahv what happened ? He says nothing. She asks Pakhi to serve. Raghav is still thinkng about the moments he spent with Kalpi.
Kamla is sleeping with Kalpi. She looks at her and cries. He tears fall on Kalpi’s hand. Kalpi is up but pretends like she is asleep.
Scene 5
Kamla calls Kalpi and says i wanted to tell you something. Pakhi says i wanna tell you something too. When Raghav came home he was so happy. He did cut the cake with me. I will win his heart kamla maa. Tell me this will happen ? will i get my love ? Kamla says yes daughter everything will be okay ? Pakhi asks are you happy kamla maa ? Kamla says i am happy. She asks tell me what you wanted to say ? Kamla says its kalpi’s birthday so people in chowl arranged a partyu for her. I missed you so much but i am so happy for you. Stay happy pakhi.
Kamla says I can’t see both my daughters like this please God. There is kalpi on one side and pakhi on the other. I could never give kalpi happiness. She had to fell the pain on every step of her life. Pakhi has got her love but not the way she wanted. She doesn’t even know whats gonna happen to her.
Scene 6
Raghac calls someone and orders somethong. He says this is the most precious gift for you kalpi. I am sure this wil make you happy.
kamla is cooking. Sahil tells nettu that he has got some work he is going to talk there. Nettu says wow. Vitthal asks Kamla for breakfast. She isa bout to give. Nettu takes it from her and says sahil has to go. Kamla says let me bring you toast. He says no pakiya come we will have breakfast out.
Kalpi comes to kamla. SHe turns her head on the other side. Kalpi says listen to me please. Kamla leaves. The postman delivers a courier. Kalpi receives it. Nettu comes and she hides. it. She opens it and finds a letter. It says this sindur is the sign of our love kalpi. There is a sindur box in there.
Precap-Pakhi gives kamla parshad and says pray that Raghav will be mine forever. She leaves kalpi comes and gives her some parshad. She says pray for me and Ragahv. Kamla says i will never pray for your relationship with him.

With regards to Raghav loving Kalpi like no one else did , Kalpi always had her father’s and brother’s love , even if not her mother’s . I said b4 that in this family , there is a role reversal scenario . Kamla is really like the man and she has that emotional disconnect from her child because she feels that if she isn’t harsh , then Kalpi will never know the realities of life . I know many fathers who are this way and although they have deep love for their children , they are like tyrants pushing them to succeed without remorse .
Neither Kamla nor Raghav can fulfil Kalpi’s needs .
Raghav has all the heart , but he doesn’t have the dedication and the commitment .
Kamla has all the dedication but without the proper emotions .
It’s ok for Raghav to say ” I love you , till the end of times ” but where is he ? He isn’t by her side to prove it to her . To guide her towards her dreams .
Kamla will say ” follow your dreams child , become a great person ” . But , she isn’t there to wipe a tear when times are tough .
In my eyes , both Kamla and Raghav are the same in good ways and bad , for Kalpi .
Raghav doesn’t cater for her burning ambition to succeed and Kamla doesn’t cater for her desires for love and acceptance .

June 04, 08:28Good morning Phoenix,very good assessment of raghav n Kamla..my dear .I think THIS series is losing its morality…we don’t know where it is heading..(ITS DISASTROUS ALREADY)..how can Kalpi reach the sky without any guidance ,will she only dream n it WILL happen????? U rightly said there is no emotional support from KAMLA n no physical support from Raghav.
The only grounded n rooted character to their aim is gouri..She isn’t diverting from her objective,she stood rooted to it ,she spare no chance in torturing n humiliating pakhi..every act of hers is evidentiary to her purpose.you noticed when Raghav was going to eat the piece of the birthday cake n gouri looked at him seriously he dropped the cake in preparation for dinner lol.
I’m hoping that he doesn’t keep remembering good incidents with kalpi n get carried away to be closer to PAKHI,coz it seems the misunderstanding is GIVING Pakhi her space and signal to think the marriage is getting BETTER.
Kalpi is the one who is suffering until NOW,no shoulder to lean on for moral and emotional nupport,she need to stop lingering on raghav n work on her aim,she is drown in self pity n isn’t moving.She is brillianT n intelligence why don’t she used her intellect n get up n move on..
I am not seeing any form of REVENGE is given to the kapoors.only their house was taken away. Until now nothin else has happened. The way raghav went n demand the key ,I though he Will execute his power of fulfilling his aims of REVENGE,but until NOW they r all drifting,twisting ,diverting only gouri maintain her principles…
If raghav THINK he is hurting the kapoors, he really have to put a second thought to it,neetu had adapted to the chowl life eating greedily n making the most of everything lol until sahil can get her LUXURY back. Neetu is unconcerned about pakhi. I did not notice any other form of revenge. Raghav said pakhi is the pride of the kapoors n that’s why he married her to destroy them when he is moving closer. It’s so confusing n annoying to see these characters r going astray from their motives. It’s very noticeable that none beside gouri is stable.

Pakhi continue to be get all her desire fulfilled . Kalpi is remaining the second hand to pakhi.
From childhood all kalpi valued possessions had to be given to pakhi for her happiness upon kamla instructions n obedient kalpi listened.
Her exam result was tampered WITH made pakhi the top one.
With her profession the same, pakhi was her senior.
Personal life pakhi married raghav first then kalpi get the second hand raghav..
When will the portray kalpi character to be above???? When will they show kalpi as being the successful person over pakhi,raghav n kamla????? I pity kalpi misfortune..

Unit) has seen quite a lot of drama with Raghav
(Aashish Chaudhary) putting sindoor on Kalpi’s
(Rachana Parulkar) forehead and seeking a time
of one year to rectify things and give her a happy
life.
Well, this was a huge development considering
the fact that the man is now wedded to both the
ladies, Kalpi and Paakhi (Shirina Singh).
So what’s coming next?
Well, we hear that with Kamla (Shilpa Shirodkar)
reacting badly to Kalpi going ahead and meeting
Raghav, she would wants Kalpi to get away from
the clutches of Raghav. In the episodes to come,
Kalpi we hear will take a major stand.
A source states, “Kalpi will want a promise in
return from Raghav. She will tell him that they
both cannot meet at all for one year, till the time
Raghav will be all ready to accept Kalpi in his life.
This will shock Raghav to no extent.”
Also, another highpoint is just around the corner,
as Vitthal (Mohit Dagga) will get to know of the
secret marriage of Kalpi with Raghav. The man
will get furious and will create a ruckus.
The source further states, “Vitthal will literally
lose his marbles initially. He will confront his
daughter Kalpi, and will also slap her for the
wrong move she has taken in her life.”
How will Vitthal bring some semblance back in
his daughter’s life?
What will his stand be?
We tried contacting Mohit and Rachana, but could
not get through to them.

June 03, 21:52I remember many a times Kalpi telling Paaki that she (kalpi) will win her mother back. That is the girl’s goal. But no matter what Kalpi does to please her mother and win her back, Kamla doesn’t see it or understand it and thus hurts the girl more.
That is why I totally support her and Raghav being together. Why spend her life trying to win someone’s love when someone loves YOU more than anything and wants to give you all the love and happiness in the world?

June 03, 21:33Phoenix you are right, reference to mothers. I was thinking same. Neetu is all about wealth and money but when you look at it, she was trying to build a relationship with Paaki and not pushing her away even though Paaki was disrespecting her. Neetu never broke promises to Paaki but gave her everything. She might be a bad woman and has evil intentions but she never treated her daugther that way. When Paaki wanted to be with Raghav, they wanted it too because she wanted it. That mother supported her daughter’s desire. When Kalpi wanted to be with Raghav and marry him, Kamla didn’t support it but want the guy for another girl! Neetu is interested in Paaki’s happiness while Kamla doesn’t give a dime to what makes Kalpi happy.
I have to confess…I like Gauri though. I like her alot in fact. A woman of steel. She is straight forward, knows what she wants and goes after it, Good or bad, Like it or not. Now I see where Raghav got it from 🙂
And honestly I don’t blame Gauri for wanting revenge. Aside from what they did to her family years before, just look at how they stalked her and tried to kill her. They had the woman consumed harmful pills, they had her get shock treatment. (I was so outraged when I saw them shocking that woman. My gosh, that was cruel, cruel, Cruel.). Then she sent goons to kill her and Kamla too. I am with Gauri 100% on this revenge (only I don’t like her making Raghav having to wait for 1 year). But I stand with Gauri in this show. She was hurt and she needs to do what she has to do. That is what revenge is. I want to see the Kapoors suffer and suffer badly! (I say this because it is a show). Come on Guari, let’s go kick some butts!
Kamla…the more I think about her the more I am beginning to understand her complex character. She has a soft heart for others and I like that. But what I don’t like is her treatment of Kalpi. I don’t like her favoring of Paaki. But aside from that I like her good nature. 🙂
I strongly believe that a day is coming when Kamla will finally understand Kalpi and Raghav. This character will come to the realisation one day. I think the writers will show that. And then we will see a change in her that will make the audience love her. I know a day is coming when she will come to that point of having to make a decision between Kalpi and Paaki and she will choose Kapli. Such a day is coming and she will beg Raghav’s forgiveness for sticking it out and being true to and loving her daughter so much and supporting her daughter so much, when she was busy doing that for another man’s child. Such a day is coming and I am looking forward to that. Cause I do like Kamla to some extent but I want to see her with full understanding of what she is doing. None of these things would have ever happened if she had never shared her life with Paaki in the first place. She overdid there and I can’t support for that. And even now she is doing it.
I have confidence the writer will bring Kamla to realisation and she will realise. When she comes to that realisation, she will realise what Raghav has been doing for Kalpi and the love he has for her. See, Kamla doesn’t understand Raghav’s love for Kalpi because Kamla herself doesn’t love Kalpi truly. Yes she wants the girl to be successful and she weaves dreams for her. But that is a totally different thing. She is obsessed with these dreams to the point that she neglected what is most important in human relationship and that is LOVE. Kalpi wanted her mother’s love as opposed to go to boarding school. Kalpi strove to do well in school to WIN HER MOTHER’s LOVE and APPROVAL, not to weave dreams for herself. Perhaps we the viewers are missing what Ek Mutthi Aasmaan is for Kalpi. That it is not about a girl acquiring wealth and status, but a girl getting her mother’s love which she yearned for and never got in her life.

June 03, 21:45For Kalpi Ek Mutthi Aasmaan is about getting her mother’s love which she never got. All her life Kalpi wanted it. Everything she did is to win her mother’s love. Getting your mother’s love is like getting to touch the sky itself. We all know what a mother’s love is. Poets wrote about it. God commends it. A mother’s love is life itself and Kalpi never got it. I think Kalpi’s Ek Mutthi Aasaam ( a fistful of the sky) is her mother’s love.
And the thing is: why and when will Kamla love Kalpi? When she acquires wealth and status? Or can Kamla love Kalpi for who she is? The girl she is.
Sometimes I think that maybe Kamla loves Paaki more because Paaki has everything. She is rich and doesn’t have to work for anything. But because Kalpi is poor, she wants Kalpi to have everything too. Dreams are not bad but dreams can become bad when they possess us to the point that we begin to be obsessive about it and we neglect what is most important for in pursuit of them. Kamla is allowing her dreams for Kalpi to destroy her relationship with Kalpi. And if Kamla’s love for Kalpi is conditional that she fulfills those dreams then Kamla has no authentic love for Kalpi.
That is why I commend Raghav and support him no matter what. His love is pure and deep and strong and unconditional to the point that if he has to commit a wrong to prove his love, he will do it. THat’s unconditional and true love. Something that Kamla can’t understand. ANd she won’t unless she begins to love Kalpi without any conditions and love her just as she (Kalpi) is.

That was a problem I had to face once, keep it low key or not.
Now Kalpi must decide, she is alone in this one, her father and brother don’t know the story at all.
Wonder if they were to know what is in Kalpi’s heart, what would they do.

June 04, 05:33Your know what a writer writes, it’s usually her or his background , aspirations, dreams, deepest thoughts and even darkest thoughts can be usually denoted through her/his writing. Well this is what I feel when reading a book or watching a movie. If you are romantic, you will create romance, if you have a dark side, you will create sorrow, pain etc…
So maybe for our writers here perception of motherhood is what they are demonstrating through Kamla. May be they were children who always had to prove their worth to her own mother without succeeding much over and over again. Maybe they had been always been unfavored as compared to their sibblings. May be in their perception, one is only entitle to get even something as precious mother’s love and support, is when you have ‘certain’ status…like the Kappor’s had????, whereby it is allowable in their head to look upon them in a different manner. Status wise the people their family work for were higher, so being poorer may be they had been taught that they need to look ‘upon these type of people’ ????

In the show they are hereby condemning these attitudes and way of thoughts, by showing exactly this through Kamla.
It’s their way to highlight these points, as indeed there are still many people who used to think like Kamla in India maybe, where they do consider people they work for as ‘ semi Gods’, people you need to ‘bow’ to as for them these people have status, so shower your love and respect first to them even though your family comes in second hand.
Now I was talking to my grandma abt these types of perceptions and how unacceptable in this particular era these are. And she told me, that this was very true at one particular time, whereby there was huge gap between rich and poor, whereby Kamla’s way of thinking would have been thought as normal. Poor people were given the least consideration or no consideration at all not even for their own feelings and for them that was considered as normal but they did not want same treatment for their kids, and that was the main reason that they bigger dreams for their children, that through education their children will thrive and make a name in society and raise their family status too. For the sake of same they would be willing to go at any edge because they thought it was their destiny. Remember Kamla was when she thought that Kalpi was in luv with Sammy, as she believed that Kalpi and Sammy were of same status.
Most of us on this forum are not from India I guess, and the gap between poor and rich has long been decreased by what we call a ‘middle class’ society in most of the cts in which we are living. Our perceptions and way of seeing and accepting things have grown with education, travel and so on. So for being from the the generation of today especially out of India, we can’t find ourselves accepting such values, we feel it’s monstrous, unbelievable, that the writers are taking all of us for ride, taking us so many years backwards. But something we need to keep in our mind, is that this is particular India we are talking abt here. People who grow up and live in India, whereby the gap between poor and rich are still very high, though things must be changing I guess, but how much , this is a question to be asked, as perceptions can’t be change that easily. So maybe some people’s perception is still like the one of Kamla and the new generation like Kalpi’s is bringing changes, thereby the various clash ,learning , acceptance, an educated generation v/s an uneducated one.
