Ekta Tiwari to feature in Colors’ Code Red

Sunshine Rise Productions will be depicting an engrossing tale of a young girl who would be transformed into a Godly avatar by her own family, in order to bag the riches by duping the villagers.

Yes, this will be featured in an upcoming episodic of Colors’ Code Red – Awaaz. Set up in a village in Rajasthan, a four years old girl, essayed by Samriddhi will be pronounced by her family as the fake Devi who would be able to create miracles and cure people of all kinds of illnesses.

The drama will take to the next level when the villagers will be affected by the epidemic swine flu, and how the villagers will storm to meet the Devi and seek her blessings, rather than get themselves cured with the medications provided by the doctors.

Tere Mere Sapne fame Ekta Tiwari will play the role of the little girl’s mother who would be disappointed and upset at her husband and father-in-law for killing the innocence in her daughter, by making her a Devi.

The mother will then stage a fightback along with Kabir (Yash Sinha) to make the villagers realize the myth behind the blind belief in Devi.

When contacted, Ekta told us, “Yes, I have shot for this heart-warming story wherein a small girl is put through the pressure of posing like a goddess by her family.”
