Imlie walks to Adi while he is busy working. He doesn’t react and continues working. She says she didn’t come to trouble him, but to invite him for kite flying on Amma/Mithi’s insistence. He says he has just come to interview a peace meeting between Satyakam and government and nothing else. She angrily walks out of room. Her friends asks if jijaji didn’t come. She says Babu Saheb/Adi’s hands are very soft holding only pen, so he is afraid of competing with her strong hands. In Delhi, family waits for Malini in ground to celebrate festival. Pankaj asks Aparna if new bahu is dumped with a lot of work. Aparna asks if he thinks so. Malini enters with kites for children and whole family, they all get happy seeing colorful kites. Back in Pagdandiya, Imlie flies kite with her friends signing folk song. Mithi sees Adi roaming around and thinks he would never accompany her. Satyakam seeing Adi walks to him. Adi asks when is his meeting with government scheduled. Satyakam says government works in it own pace, so instead of sitting here, he should come and see how a soil touches sky today with kites, its time to look at the sky from ground. Adi agrees. Malini sees Tauji/Taiji and Pankaj/Aparna flying kites and misses Aadi. She imagines him walking to her and telling she shouldn’t waste her time on all this. Aparna walks to her and asks if she is missing Adi. Back in Pagdandiya, Satyakam takes Adi to compete against Imlie. Mithi says let them fly kite together. Villagers encourage Adi and Imlie to compete. Imlie taunts he is very soft handed and cannot compete against her. Adi accepts challenge saying let him show how his soft pen holding hands will cut many kites. Their competition stats. Everyone encourage them. Adi pulls the thread and both their kites cut and fly away. Imlie’ finger gets injured. Satyakam tells Mithi that their kites are disconnected but are flying too high together.
Malini walks into kitchen to get some stuff and sees Rupal crying looking at her wedding album. She walks to Rupal and says they both are alone, so they together should fly kites. Rupal warns her to dare not say that as she doesn’t want Malini to be alone like her. Malini says she has whole family with her, so she shouldn’t feel disheartened. Rupal says she became a bahu, devrani, jetani, chachi, mami and much more after marriage but couldn’t become a wife. Malini consoles her.
Imlie stands holding her injured finger. Adi walks to her and says he knew people would say that their jodi is best, but whenever he tries to move out, she entangles him in her lies. Imlie thinks what is wrong if people think they are happy couple. He sees her injured finger and asks her to apply antiseptic to ward off infection. She applies soil on her injury and says she can take care of her even when he is here and after he goes. Next day, Adi gets ready for work thinking finally all festivals and rituals are complete, now he can go back to his work. Satyakam enters with his team and asks them to make arrangements. Adi says its a peace meeting with government, then why is he hiding weapons. Satyakam says anything can happen and he cannot trust government. Mithi brings Babaji along and says she brought him to perform last right and requests Adi to perform it with Imlie. Villagers say Mithi brought Babaji holding his feet, so Adi should agree. Mithi asks Satyakam to stay till ritual is complete, and he agrees. Babaji says its an important ritual and asks him to repeat his words keeping his hand on his wife and imagining her with closed eyes and taking her name. Adi imagines Malini, repeats words keeping his hand on Imlie and says Moon/Malini at last. Satyakam’s men point guns at him, and Satyakam asks why did he say moon instead of his wife’s name. Dulari asks who is this moon. Adi and Imlie stand tensed.
Precap: Rupal asks family if they feel her as a burden. Malini says Tauji and Taiji went to meet her husband’s family to reconcile between her and her husband. Rupal says her husband cheated on her for another woman, so how can she accept a manw whom she loved and got betrayal from him.
