It’s a maha-episode in Sasural Genda phool tommorrow

This episode unveils the suspense surrounding Suhana’s illness. On this momentous occasion we spoke to the cast of the show on their excitement about the show and got a little insight into the maha-episode.

One reason why this show is numero uno, is Suhana, her smile, her mannerisms and her childlike behaviour which has captured and captivated audiences of every age. An elated Suhana says, "It’s the proudest moment of my life that my show has completed 300 episodes. This show will go down in history as a classic show. It has several golden moments. I just want to thank my fans who have loved me so much and I feel lucky that I have entertained my audience by playing this colourful character of Suhana. “

Talking about her most memorable moment she says, “There is no particular special moment which I can share as all the episodes are dear to me. Each family member has their own charm whether it’s the cute relationship between dada and dadi or Suhana and Badi Maa; each relationship shows the importance of family."

When asked about the maha-episode she shares her feelings, "I am scared and nervous at the same time, but I am lucky that I have the support of my family, especially Ishaan.”

Rajni Bhabhi aka Bhairavi Raichura says, “I am glad that audiences have loved this light hearted show which highlights the importance of joint family and other moral values. I want the show to reach 1000 episodes and want it to be the No. 1 show. It was wonderful playing this character of Rajni bhabhi which had shades of happiness as well as some intense scenes too. The show has been big, but there are couple of scenes which have been written and crafted very well. For instance, I love this one scene where Suhana leaves with her friends and Disha and I are left at the hotel. It was quite a touching scene because in real life the situation would have gone from bad to worse. While off-screen I have several special moments, some of which include the first day of the telecast of the show, high TRPs, the 100 episodes celebration party, and then our one year celebration.”

Further about the maha-episode she said, “Everyone in the family is very tensed about Suhana’s biopsy reports and its only Elesh, Alok papa and Ishaan who go to the hospital to get her report. At home we are praying that the reports should be normal, while I would recommend that audiences tune in for the rest of the drama."

We also spoke to Rajni bhabhi’s husband Inder Kashayap aka Jiten Lalwani who said, “From the beginning itself I had faith that the show would be loved by the audience. I really liked the whole set up of the show, the producer and the writer are very well known, because they were part of the same show on Jalsha in Kolkata which was a huge hit. Every scene of the show is most memorable. I will cherish the fact that the show reached 300 episodes. Inder-Elesh’s scenes are mind blowing and full of laughter too. I remember the scene in which I tell Suhana that Ishaan had a girlfriend and she was in utter disbelief. Then there are emotional scenes with Panna; there were also very touchy scenes with my mother too and while acting too we had tears in our eyes. Now after this milestone of 300 episodes, I want the show to complete more than 1000 episodes.”

Talking about the maha-episode he says, “We are hoping that reports will be positive as we want our Suhana’s loving smile to be back again.”

We spoke to Elesh aka Shyam Mashalkar who said, “I want to thank Ravi sir, the writer and the channel for giving me such wonderful role and opportunity to be the part of the show. There are many memorable moments on-screen and off-screen. I love all my scenes with Inder bhaiya. Even when it comes to Manju aunty, our scenes are very hilarious. The experience in Macao was very memorable too. I didn’t expect everyone to love my character so much.”

About the maha-episode he says, “It will have some hilarious situations which the audience will love; I will get locked in the hospital in the middle of this tension about Suhana’s reports.”

Alok Kashyap aka Sooraj Thapar says, “It feels great when your show does well and now we have reached another milestone. I think it’s because we share a good relationship with our producer, director and most importantly our co-actors. There are many cherished moments to share but I love the scene between badi bhabhi and me. I also treasure my relationship with Ishaan. Recently we did many emotional scenes in which Ishaan and my relationship have become deeper in which I try to tell Ishaan to be strong when we see Rano and Suhana playing with dolls. The whole journey has been very memorable.”

About the maha-episode he says, “Ishaan, Elesh and I go to the hospital to get the reports. I am very tensed about the results but I have full faith in God, he will be with us, especially with Suhana and Ishaan.”

An STAR Plus.in source tells us that, “Everyone in the family is just waiting for the biopsy reports to come. Even dada and daadi are quite tensed and as a result they send Elesh with Ishaan and Alok to the hospital but in the meantime Suhana takes away the reports and all are quite tensed as to where the reports are.”
