Karan Mehra to surprise his sister on Rakshabandhan!

The ever notorious Telly town actor Karan Mehra, is on his way to surprise his much-loved sister on Rakshabandhan today!

Rakshabandhan is a special occasion to celebrate the chaste bond of love between a brother and a sister, by tying a sacred thread around the wrist.

But this year it’s going to be extra special for Telly town actor Karan Mehra, who is currently seen as Bhanu Shergill in Sony TV’s popular daily Bade Achhe Laggte Hain.

In conversation with us, actor Karan Mehra spills out his plans for Rakshabandhan this year. He says, “This Rakshabandhan is going to be full of dhamaka and masti. From past 2-3 years I haven’t been with my sister together, the reason being either I used to be caught up with the shoot or she being working with an Airline was not present in India. So, I’m going to surprise her by going to Delhi to be with my family and especially my sister this year.”

Karan had already well-planned a week’s leave especially to meet and surprise his sister Kamsin on this auspicious day. Taking about his plan, Karan says, “Luckily this year I’ve got a week’s off and even Kamsin is in India, so what could be better than that. As Kamsin is an ever demanding sister, I’m planning to gift her something very expensive this time to that she can stay calm for a long time.” (Laughs)

Recalling his childhood memory about Rakshabandhan, Karan shares with us, “I remember that I had a lot of sisters when I was in school and both my arms used to be full of Rakhi on this particular Rakshabadhan day. In fact I used to feel proud of it but once I became matured, I realized that this it was not really cool to have so many sisters.” (Laughs)
