Kehne Ko Humsafar Hain 26th March 2020 Written Episode

The episode starts with Ananya laying on Rohit’s shoulder, besides a bonfire. Ananya read her friend’s messages inquiring where she was lost. Ananya says she wants to tell them that she is celebrating the most beautiful anniversary of her life with him; but then said she is busy with work. Rohit apologized as she couldn’t share her happiness with anyone, because of him.

Bani comes to kitchen. Rohit was preparing a hot water bag for Poonam. He says she has fallen again in the kitchen, and is always desperate to work in kitchen even when ageing. Bani was upset and asks that is why he doesn’t love her anymore. She shows him the message on his phone. Rohit tries to snatch the phone. Bani says this interior designer replied I love you too, and it’s said only when he must have written I love you. She was hysterical.

In the room, Poonam reads the message. She shuts the door and warns Rohit to distance this all from her and her daughter’s life. She had forgiven him six years ago, but now their kids are also involved. Their daughters consider them an ideal couple. Did he think how he will face them now? No matter who she is, but this must be over as it may directly affect their life. The phone bell rings. Poonam hands the phone to Rohit and tells him to finish it off. Rohit shuts the call.

Later at night, Rohit and Poonam silently lay in their beds, awake. Poonam thinks about Rohit being annoyed when called back home. She picks up the silver earrings from her bed side table and throws them at him. She angrily says, there is no space for such cheap and fake things in her house.

The next morning, Ananya was in Yoga class. Her friend Cherry asks Ananya if it were the same earrings in photo as well. Their instructor asks if there is some problem. The three, Ava, Cherry and Ana (Ananya) sat outside. Ava convinces her that the people who come for yoga spend a whole one hour here, relax for a while, then go to work and forget about it. Is she also a yoga workout for Rohit, who spends an hour with her then leaves? Ananya says she likes to be with him. Cherry says he relaxes and goes to his family once again. The next time he comes, she must make him hear classical and leave; she will realize herself. She must, once only, draw privileges for him; she will realize if it’s a relationship or just a ‘feel-good’ exercise.

There at Rohit’s place, Nickie and Bani have a fight. Rohit and Poonam come to stop them. Nickie complains that Bani took over her bed and room, just so that she can go lovey-dovey with her boyfriend. Boys are like that, they only pool around with girls. Rohit and Poonam share a stressed look at her remark. Poonam calms them down. She tells Rohit to go for his drama. His multi-vitamin is on table and BP medicine in his bag. She tells Nickie the matter is settled, no one leaves their space easily; so Nickie won’t as well. Poonam now speaks directly to Rohit that acquiring someone else’s space is wrong already. Rohit leaves. Bani questions why Poonam has been giving medicines to Dad, even when he is cheating. Poonam replies, he cheated, but he won’t anymore. Bani was in disbelief and asks if she has some self-respect. Poonam says life isn’t black n white, it’s full of greys. After marriage, one has to forgive a lot of mistakes. Bani says their generation must have learnt to live with the word Compromise, but theirs doesn’t understand it.

Ananya was working with a client. The client complemented the work, and painting. Ananya was happy as she watches the client’s family. Ava tells Ananya about an invitation from client on warmup party, with her better half. There was a call from Rohit. Ananya tells Ava to cut it, she is working.
The three friends were together in the club. Ananya avoided Rohit’s calls. Ava tells Cherry. Ananya joins the gossip, and says she can’t herself believe she didn’t take Rohit’s gossips all day long.
Rohit waiting outside the building for Ananya. He follows her in the lift and holds her hand, but leaves it when someone else joins it. He opens the door for her. Ananya says the spare keys were only for emergencies. Rohit says she ignores 25-30 calls, and 25-30 messages; if that’s not an emergency then what it is. He says Khanna’s, her clients were extremely happy with her work. He notices the sofa covers were dirty, they need to change it. Ananya asks, we? Where is we, in this house. She gifted him the books, they are all on this shelf. In the corner he likes, there is a playlist of his like on her laptop, Nusrat Sahib. The photos are only here, nowhere else. The light socket was short because of his phone charger. He resides everywhere in this house. He even deletes the messages before leaving. She stays here in this very house. He is everywhere, but she is nowhere in his life. This isn’t we.

Rohit brings a coin to her, and reminds her of the office party in which he was mistaken in reading Ghalib’s poetry; she had gifted him this coin. This has their ‘we’. Ananya says she is just like anyone else in his life, even her name is saved as Ananya, Interior Designer in his phone. She takes the coin from him and puts it in the coin box. She says their ‘we’ is lost, so easily. Rohit opens the coin box and picks the exact same coin. He says, he recognizes this ‘we’ very well, he lives with it and can’t lose it so easily. Ananya breaks in tears. She hugs Rohit. Both confess I love you, to each other.

Late at night, Rohit dresses up to leave. Ananya demands the coin from him. He asks why? She says, he must let their ‘we’ be here. She can’t see him conflicted. He returns to his family with guilty conscience. She demands him to leave her, be free. Rohit says she is his everything. Ananya says she is his dirty secret, he hasn’t been able to fulfil his promise to her for past three years. He must go home, and be a free man.

Rohit returns home. Nickie excitedly tells him about the result. Rohit had brought her a new phone, and knew her marks as well. Bani and Poonam watches from upstairs.

The guard came to Ananya to take her signature on circular. Ananya pays him a few coins from the coin box near the door.

In the room, Poonam was happy that Rohit had brought the best gift for Nickie. She must never have given her kids such expensive gifts, as he affords. He is truly a super dad. Nickie deserves it, as she got really good marks.

Ananya comes to her room. On the side table was a photo of Ananya and Rohit. She says, Rohit took the coin back. Rohit was sitting with a coin from his wallet. Poonam was discussing with Rohit about a family picture. She says Bani and Aarya are madly in love with each other. Rohit instead says, I love Ananya and can’t leave her. Poonam was taken aback.
