Kuch Toh Log Kahenge 5th September 2012 Written Update

The patient flirts with Nidhi and she is angry at him because he called her at night for no reason. Meanwhile, Ashu overhears this conversation and gets furious. Nidhi leaves the room without spotting Ashu. Ashu enters the room and confronts Amar about Nidhi and Amar starts getting moony-eyed over her much to Ashu’s disgust.

Ashu bumps into Nidhi and she tells him she could’ve gone back herself (rather politely). Ashu asks why he didn’t inform anyone and Nidhi says it was an emergency so she had to come and left her phone at home as well. But Ashu scolds her all the same and offers to drop her home on DB’s orders so she has to agree.

On their way back, Ashu recalls Amar’s admiration of Nidhi and how he also said that Nidhi’s husband must be very lucky. He looks at Nidhi and comments on her no-mangalsutra and no-sindoor. They have a small bicker on this as they reach home. DB comes outside and thanks Ashu. He is a bit cold about Nidhi.

In his room, Ashu starts reading but can’t concentrate. He is disturbed about the whole sindoor-mangalsutra argument with Nidhi.

In her room, Nidhi, too, recalls this fight.
They both switch on the TV where the promo of Honge Juda Na Hum is playing. Nidhi wishes that all lovers would get a second chance like Rohan-Muskaan and none of them every get separated. Ashu is also wondering that why they are not together when just like Rohan-Muskaan, they do love each other so much.

Nidhi asks Amar how he got hit by the bullet. Amar is his usual naughty self but tells her that he was just coming out of the bookstore when bullets were fired. He flirts more with Nidhi who doesn’t pay heed. Ashu calls Nidhi and she leaves.

On her way, she realises she is wearing her mangalsutra and hides it beneath her kurta. Nidhi reaches his cabin and greets RN not Ashu He asks about the patient and she replies in a way Ashu doesn’t really like. She asks for his sign on some papers. Ashu tries to look for her mangalsutra in her neck. After she goes, Ashu tells RN that Nidhi hide her mangalsutra on purpose so that he gets irritated and to show him she doesn’t care about him. RN doesn’t understand this ‘mangalsutra politics’ as he calls it but listens to Ashu anyway.

Meanwhile, Amar is having a tough time with the police interrogating him. Nidhi comes to his rescue and gets into an argument with the police. She wins and they end up leaving. This amuses Amar and much to her irritation, he continues his flirtious ways.

Ashu is welcoming the new interns and explaining them their responsibilities. One among them seems totally smitten by him.

On her way out, she bumps into Nidhi and starts going moony-eyed over Ashu. Nidhi warns her to stay away from Ashu since he is khadoos. But the intern doesn’t agree. She says Ashu is very sweet

Anji is witnessing this scene which appears very hilarious to her. Nidhi says she will get back at her when someone hits on RN. Anji says she will break that girl’s face. Then, Anji becomes serious and gives Nidhi again a pep-talk on how her ego is stopping her from going back to Ashu, not Ashu himself. Nidhi says even Ashu can keep his ego aside but he won’t. Then, they go for coffee.

Nidhi and Anji overhear the interns talking about Ashu. Everyone seems to agree that Ashu is very sweet. The moony-eyed intern comtinues to drool over Ashu and Anji notices Nidhi getting jealous. Nidhi goes and tells the intern that she is lucky that Ashu isn’t married but he is known for breaking a lot of girls’ hearts.

Anji asks Nidhi why she lied. Nidhi says it’s only because she felt sorry for her. She already knows her fate: Ashu will scold her and himself tell that he is married and she will only sit back, relax and enjoy!

Ashu and RN are discussing the new patient and are puzzled since no one has come to fetch him yet. Ashu is also worried that this guy might be a criminal and why he was shot. He also asks RN to ensure the patient’s security because he might be attacked again and Nidhi might become the target. They also decide to start questioning the patient right away.

Precap: Ashu tells Nidhi that he has ordered RN to enquire everything about her patient and that he will be discharged as soon as he is stable. Nidhi retaliates that it is her job to make sure he is stable and that he cannot be discharged without her reports.
