-Satyavati asks Bhishma to not be harsh with Vichitravirya. Bhishma tells her that it is necessary because he is his teacher.
– Satyavati asks Bhishma to ask the hand King Of Kashi’s Daughters to marry them to Vichitravirya. – the preparations for the swayamvar of the three daughters of Kashi are on full swing.
-Bhishma enters the swayamvar and asks the king to send his daughters with him.
– King Salv who eyed Amba as she entered wages a fight with Bhishma.
– The skillful Bhishma defeats Salv.
– Amba still wants to marry Salv as she chose him so Bhishma leaves with the other two.
-King Salva does not want to marry her because Bhishma had defeated him and asks Bhishma to marry her.
