Manav and Archana to die; Hiten to make an early exit to accommodate Sushant in Zee TV’s Pavitra Ris
Balaji Telefilms’ Pavitra Rishta family on Zee TV has been entertaining audiences for over five years now!! And it is time for them to bid a teary farewell.
And as reported exclusively by us, Sushant Singh Rajput, the original Manav Damodar Deshmukh will be seen for the one last time on the small screen, sharing screen space with his beloved Archana (Ankita Lokhande).
Well, with this good news comes a really sad news!! The last episode will see the death of Manav and Archana.
Yes, you heard it right!!
A highly credible source from the set told us, “The creative team had to take the call of bringing back the original Manav to wrap up proceedings. This only meant that Hiten Tejwani, who played the role of Manav for three years now had to be given an early exit. The last episode will see the death of Manav followed by Archana. And Sushant, the original Manav will be shown holding Archana’s hand post their death, thus indicating the union of two souls who have been very much in love. With this, Manav and Archana’s ‘Pavitra Rishta’ will continue to eternity.”
We hear that Sushant Singh will be shooting for the climax sequence tomorrow (7 October), and with it, the shoot of the long-running show will wrap up.
When contacted, Hiten Tejwani told us, “Yes, I will not be shooting for the finale sequences, as my track will end a bit earlier. These are creative calls that are taken, and every show that starts has to end. It is a bit upsetting to not be there to shoot on the final day, but guess the creative call was to end the show with the original Manav’s return.”
Guess this was a tough creative call to take!!
Here’s wishing a final good bye to all in the team of Pavitra Rishta, which will air its last episode on 24 October 2014.

I do not think that they will kill off archaea and maniac because the producers said that they want to end pavitra rishta on a happy note.
All of the messed up problems will be solved and as for ranvijay, I do not think that are going to bring him back.

October 07, 04:02If they really wanted to bring Sushant back, they could’ve brought him back as Ranvijay’s character & given Ankita & him a chance to make a come back as the lead couple… Im sure alot of the old fans will agree, it would’ve made more sense to finish it off with the original pair Ankita & Sushant just playing that… Why do you have to kill off Archana & Manav for it… Seriously Ranvijay did what all of one months shooting & they put the guy in a coma… No explanations given to how they r going to tie up that story line altogether… Would’ve been better if they brought him out of the coma as sushant & join Ankita & his daughter & finish it off on a happy note. Thank kill off Hiten….
Really really dumb ending to an otherwise controversial show, with a lot of up & downs…

October 07, 03:50So totally agree… Really doesn’t make sense… It’s like he’s had a face transplant on his way to heaven… Rubbish… Don’t get me wrong… Im a SSR fan too, but doesn’t mean you drop the guy who gave the character life for the past 3 yrs over the original guy, who left it to further his career…

October 06, 16:45Emm….Really Bad idea PR Director. We need a happy ending in Pavitra Rishta. Hiten did a fabulous Job. Wouldn’t it be nice if all PR members could participate in the final Epi. They just broke the super Track because of Manav/Archana death. I started watching PR since this year and would have loved to watch it further, well ok some say there’s low TRP rating and
I mean Adaalat it is on the last rank in the TRP and its still there. But PR is on the 17th or something!!!¨

October 06, 15:05its coming to an end what happen to all the unresolved issues- soham, gaurie, sunny, manav sister, archana brother and family most of all if sushank has to make an appearance he should have come back as ankita little brother for sometime we have not seen him, why manav n archans has to die to give him a comeback,cause the mother and mother-in-law is still alive,its just my opinion thnks crew of PR

October 06, 13:42oh…..will miss PR,but glad it finishin cuz it was too corupted…anyway wish all PR cast a good life ahead.and they did a well done job…thanks to arjun n purvi too although they went for a endless brain surgery..and never return they were the best..ankita lokane was a great actor hope she move ahead in life.the PR family were a lot as well as the best…….love you guys

It’s about time this show go off air it’s been going in circles without the writers running out of original ideas for a long time now,
It started out as the number one show and went to capture audiences far and wide but eventually it sucked big time. I loved PR u til it started to suck, always looking for some happiness for anyone, but it never came. Everything about the show turned out to be immoral in the end. Nothing Pavitra Rishta about it anymore. Nothing on zee is entertaining anymore except one or two, and very soon those would go haywire too.
Good luck to the cast and congratulations for sticking with the show for so long.
Glad that Sushant would be back, but I wish he had come as someone else for the younger Ankita, and naren and Pari track had gone differently and they stayed together.
