Manish Raisinghani’s overwhelming Garba experience in Kolkata!

Manish Raisinghani had a wonderful time attending a Garba event in the city of joy – Kolkata; the actor shares his experience with us…

While the Garba fever was on and our Telly actors were busy attending Garba events, adding some more masti to the proceedings, Telly town’s handsome hunk Manish Raisinghani aka Siddhanth of Colors’ popular show Sasural Simar Ka had a gala time playing Garba in Kolkata. We spoke to Manish to know more about his experience of playing Garba in the city of joy.

Reminiscing about the event and his experience of playing Garba in Kolkata, Manish told us, “It was a fantastic experience. I never expected this kind of love and affection from the people of Kolkata; since we mostly visit Gujarat or North India but we hardly visit the East side. The crowd was so affectionate and fantastic that I decided to play Garba. Despite being hesitant initially about how the crowd will react and how will I manage them it was wonderful to see the crowd being very co-operative. The event was very well managed by the organizers and there were bouncers who managed the crowd pretty well.”

Once he became part of the crowd, Manish was happy and overwhelmed with the response that he got from the audience. He shares, “I got lots of love, respect and most importantly, blessings from the elder people. The elder people out there love Siddhanth and Roli (Avika Gor) as a couple a lot and they were giving blessings to the couple.”

Wherever stars go, a crazy or a memorable fan incident occurs and the same happened with Manish too. Sharing with us his fan story, Manish narrates, “There was a lady who was trying hard to get into the circle but due to the security present she was not able to come inside the circle. I helped her to get into the circle and gave her a hug and spoke to her. She was on cloud nine and had tears of joy in her eyes.”

Manish once visited Kolkata when he was a kid and it was his first visit to Kolkata when he grew up and it seems he has fallen in love with the city after having a wonderful experience there. When we asked Manish whether would he like to visit Kolkata again, he says, “I would love to visit Kolkata again; it’s a fantastic city with fantastic people. My friend Rishi Tyagi, the director of Bachelorette India was also present in Kolkata and we both had plans of visiting other pandals too out there but it couldn’t happen.”

The Garba fever is still on for Manish as he adds, “This time for Garba I also went to Pune and had plans to visit Indore too but it got cancelled. However, I will be going to London by the end of the month to attend yet another event organized by the Gujarati community.”

Well Manish, we hope you have as much fun everywhere!
