Sumeet talks to the goddess about her upcoming marriage rituals with Raunak and hopes for the best. Shlok’s mother, Poonam, also prays to the goddess to find the perfect bride for Shlok. She wishes for a girl who will always keep Shlok happy. Poonam sees Sumeet and Shlok happily feeding sweets to children and believes that her prayers have been answered. Sumeet’s sandals are stolen at the temple, and Poonam helps her by giving her a new pair. Sumeet refuses to take them and says she will manage. However, Poonam insists that she return them later and provides her home address.
Poonam blesses Sumeet to stay happy with the guy she likes, misunderstanding that Sumeet and Shlok are a couple. She thinks that when Sumeet comes to return the sandals, she will introduce her to everyone and hopes she is the perfect match for Shlok. Sumeet informs her caretaker about her stolen sandals, and the caretaker gives her another pair of new heels. Sumeet decides to keep the sandals Poonam gave her and return them to her home address. As Sumeet sits in the car, her maid throws away the sandals. Unfortunately, Poonam gets hit by them and misunderstands Sumeet as a rude rich girl who threw them away.
Poonam and Shlok’s family visit the Ahlawat Mansion for the haldi ceremony. Poonam is shocked to see Sumeet there. Sumeet asks her if she found her sandals. Suddenly, Raj yells at Poonam to pick up glass pieces in front of Sumeet’s legs. Masum clarifies that Raj was talking to Sumeet’s caretaker, not Shlok’s mother. Shlok brings Raunak’s ex-girlfriend to the ceremony to reveal the truth to Sumeet. He asks her to wait outside until he can manage to send Sumeet there.
Pankhuri notices Sumeet’s original branded bag and complains about having a duplicate copy. Sarthak jokes with her. Pankhuri admires Raj and wishes she had someone rich like him. Shlok tries to talk to Sumeet, but she is called for the haldi ceremony. Raj and Sumeet sing for each other, and Dadi teases Raj to accompany Sumeet as dowry. Raj jokes that he will buy a villa next to Sumeet in London because he cannot live without her.
Shlok writes a message on a plate and asks Pankhuri to pass it to Sumeet. Unfortunately, before she can read the message, it gets washed away by water. Priya calls Shlok and asks how much longer she needs to wait. Shlok requests Sumeet to come outside as it is very important. Sumeet meets Priya, who reveals that she is Raunak’s ex-girlfriend. She explains that Raunak treats girls as toys. Shlok feels relieved, thinking that Sumeet finally knows the truth.
However, he gets shocked when Sumeet confronts him for lying and fooling her again. Shlok wonders what happened, but Sumeet doesn’t let him speak. Sumeet slaps Shlok, and Poonam witnesses the scene.
