Mrunal Jain to replace Farhan Khan in Chhanchhan?
The frenzy surrounding Chhanchhan’s hero continues even as we get the news that the current male lead Farhan Khan might be replaced.
Chhanchhan which also stars the very attractive Sanaya Irani and veteran actors Supriya Pathak and Anang Desai has become quite a popular show. However, model Farhan Khan who debuted on Indian television with Chhanchhan is in for a rude shock.
Our reliable source says that since Farhan is a newcomer he takes lot of time to give a perfect shot. His many retakes delay the shoot irritating his co-actors. While producer Vipul Shah and no one from the channel was ready to talk about the same, our source says, “This is Farhan’s first TV show so everyone thought of giving him some time but he is just not getting it right. It is more than a month but he shows no signs of improvement. The hunt is on for a good actor to replace him and Mrunal Jain maybe the one who will most probably replace Farhan. The others being considered are Barun Sobti and Arjun Bijlani.”
While Mrunal Jain who recently got engaged is currently seen as Vishnu in Uttaran and Arjun Bijlani is seen as Dev, an undercover police officer in the Star Plus show Kaali-Ek Punar Avtaar, Barun Sobti made a hit pair with Sanaya in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon before moving on to greener pastures in Bollywood.
Even before Chhanchhan was launched these very names were considered for the male lead along with model-actor Vishal Karwal who had said that time that he turned down the offer due to less payment. Even Sanaya’s beau Mohit Sehgal had given a look test for the same role. The finalization of the male lead opposite Sanaya was a major struggle for all involved and the same seems to be happening yet again.

May 02, 13:33Alot of IPKKND fans didn’t want the show to end and wanted to know the truth behind it and alot of fans got it wrong about Gul Khan that she was the reason for the show to end. It’s not true, Gul Khan wanted show to continue but Barun’s Fans went crazy over the phones using bad language, which ended IPKKND show, Gul Khan invested alot of money in the show and even offered Barun Sobti pay increase and time off but Barun Sobti refused her flat. Gul Khan lost alot, Barun Sobti had his mind set, Barun told his fans just needed time off but that wasn’t the case of health problem it was all down to Bollywood films. When fans ask questions about these issue he lost it, there were quite a few fans there and they were shock.
