My character Bhabho in Diya Aur Baati Hum has given me worldwide recognition: Neelu Vaghela

Gracious and talented Neelu Vaghela has become a household name with her splendid performance as Bhabho in Star Plus’ Diya Aur Baati Hum (Shashi Sumeet Mittal Productions Pvt. Ltd.)

Neelu (who was also seen with her better half Arvind Vaghela in the couple dance reality show Nach Baliye Season 5 on Star Plus) is on cloud nine after winning the award for the Best Actress in Supporting Role (jury) at the Twelfth Indian Telly Awards.

We got in touch with the lovely lady Neelu and asked her how she feels on winning the award, “This is my first award in a supporting role. My children wanted me to win this award and they were very happy when I won it and that to in the jury category. It means a lot to me. Today whatever I am is all because of my show. My character Bhabho has given me worldwide recognition.”

She added, “I have not done any acting course before entering into the television industry. All thanks to my Rathi family (in the show) and my producer Shashi Mittal and Sumeet Mittal.”
