My Mother believes in buying Gold on Gudi Padwa – Pallavi Kulkarni

As the much loved festival of Maharashtrians, Gudi Padwa, is around the corner, we are excited to welcome the New Year with a new beginning. Our TV celebs are quite excited to celebrate this festival and hence we speak to the Marathi Mulgi, Pallavi Kulkarni who is currently seen on Sony TV’s Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar, to know about the celebrations and more…

Pallavi says, “As I am a Maharashtrian, Gudi Padwa is a big festival for us, it means a beginning for the New Year. I celebrate it every year with full excitement. At my balcony I erect a Gudi and worship it. After which we eat a special delicacy that is prepared on this auspicious day, yes it’s Puranpoli which is made for this occasion.”

The occasion of Gudi Padwa is considered auspicious for buying new things and products. So we averred Pallavi about what is she planning to buy and she says, “I will be shooting tomorrow on this festive, so I will not be able to buy anything. But yes my mother believes in buying Gold on this day as it brings a good luck along with it.”

Well we hope this New Year brings a lot of good luck to Pallavi!
