The priest requests that Abhir and Trisha exchange garlands. Trisha adorns Abhir’s neck with the garland. Abhir pauses. Moushmi refers to Abhir. Abhir adorns Trisha’s neck with the garland. Moushmi requests that Munmun deliver the ghee to the priest. Munmun complies. Munmun applies ghee to Abhir’s shervani. As a result, Moushmi requests that Abhir replace his sherwani. Abhir enters his room.

Didun receives Trisha’s message on her phone at the graveyard and says that half the work is done and half is still to be done. Didun approaches Neerja and informs her that she has no one as Abhir is marrying Trisha and Protima died. She invites Neerja to accompany her. Neerja refuses and prefers to die with her mother rather than return to Sonagachi with Didun. The latter claims that Neerja must either die with her mother or return to Sonagachi with her. She instructs Neerja to think clearly.

Didun pushes Neerja into the flames to perish with Protima since she refuses to accompany her. Abhir arrives just in time to save Neerja. According to a Facebook post, Abhir heard Protima’s voice message concerning Didun’s return. Abhir takes Neerja’s hand in his. Didun requests that Abhir forsake Neerja and attend his wedding. Abhir will not leave Neerja’s side. Didun claims that Abhir has no right to be with Neerja. Abhir is unable to bring Neerja to his home since his family and society will not accept her.

Abhir will not let go of Neerja’s hand. Didun disparages Abhir and Neerja’s relationship, which irritates Abhir. He asks Didun to stop talking. Didun reminds Abhir that Neerja was raised in Sonagachi and is therefore considered a dirt. She suggests that Neerja work in Sonagachi rather than face Abhir’s family’s hostility. Neerja is taken aback when she realizes Protima’s death could have been a murder. Abhir requests that Neerja accompany him for the sake of Protima, who wished to save Neerja from Sonagachi.
