Neetha Shetty roped in for a friendship special episode on Gumrah!

Last seen in Doli Armaanon Ki, Neetha will essay a cop in the show

Neetha Shetty who was earlier seen in Colors’ Sasural Simar Ka and Zee TV’s Doli Armaanon Ki will now be seen in a friendship special episode of Channel V’s Gumrah.

The story will enlighten the youth about the pros and cons of a beautiful relationship – friendship. Neetha will be seen as a cop in the show.

We contacted Neetha for confirmation on her doing Gumrah. She said, “Yes. I am very much a part of the show. It was my dream to essay a police on-screen and I have finally made it come true. It was exciting to wear the costume, communicating authoritative dialogues and carrying a gun. I play a senior inspector in the show. When we shot for a scene where I come out of a jeep and the junior cops salute me, I was excited.”

On doing daily soaps, Neetha stated, “I am not interested in doing typical roles. I do a lot of episodic shows and I will only take up a daily soap if I get offered a prominent character.”

The episode will telecast on August 2!
