Nidhi Uttam excited to get an opportunity to work for the big banner BBC Productions’ Ek Boond Ishq

Actor Nidhi Uttam who presently plays the role of Nandini in Star Plus’ long running show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is excited about her upcoming show on Life OK, Ek Boond Ishq.

The talented actress will be paired opposite Dishank Arora in the show produced by BBC Productions. The couple will be the youngest pair in the show.

Talking about her role of Meethi in the show, Nidhi tells us, “The show is based on positive and romantic lines and I decided to take it up as I got an opportunity to work under a big banner.”

On her juggling act between her two shows Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Ek Boond Ishq, she avers, “Saba Mumtaz is the writer for both the shows and she will decide and schedule my shoot accordingly. I personally do not think it would be very difficult as my character Nandini in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai visits Naitik’s (Karan Mehra) house only on occasions. So I would be shooting straight for Janmashtmi. And till then I continue shooting for Ek Boond Ishq.”

Nidhi plays the role of a handicapped girl in Yeh Rishta who is married happily and is living a normal life. “When you have supportive people around, life gets much easier. And for my character, I am completely opposite to what I play in real life. I am a tomboy and love riding bikes. If I get a chance I would take a trip somewhere on my bike.’
