The episode starts with lord Vishnu saying today kanha is being discussed for punishment because of your devi. Laxmi says no devrishi, I did not want to punish kanha but I wanted to tell the people that my father brij bhanu is not the thief and I did what dharma would do, I told them who the thief is.
There yashoda says what are you people talking about? You want my son punished? Aren’t you ashamed? What crime has my son kanha done? He did not steal butter to feed himself, he doesn’t have any scarcity of milk and butter from me, he did this so that he could give butter to your children who are not given what they deserve. A woman says yashoda we want to give our children butter too but we cannot because of kansa. Yashoda says so you are forced right? Then why are you blaming

my son for that? You people don’t give your children butter. Till today, my son saved you all people from so many demons and from kansa himself too. my son fought kansa’s wrestlers and saved you all otherwise you know what would have happened. Kanha saved you always and you want to punish him? I will not let you do that, you are all responsible for your own actions. Yashoda takes kanha inside as everyone follow her inside. Rahu thinks I will have kanha punished at any cost. Yashoda takes kanha inside and has tears and says knah why did you steal the butter? Why did you do that? Kanha says mother if I hadn’t done that then my friends would never get what they deserve and the people will still be scared of kansa, and if I did not give them butter then they would doubt them being gwala. Yashoda says what you did was good by dharma kanha. Nand looks at yashoda and then rahu hypnotizes her. Yashoda gets hypnotized and she gets up, she takes a stick and says kanha you have done a crime and I will punish you. Yashoda beats kanha’s hand with the stick and his hand have red marks, kanha has pain but thinks this anger and punishment is also my mother’s love.
Laxmi looks at Vishnu and says prabhu today rahu has taken a mothers love under his control and she punished her son kanha, this is wrong prabhu. Lord Vishnu says this is also a mother’s love and today mata yashoda has shown her deepest love for me as no mother likes beating her son.
There yashoda throws the stick down and brings kanha’s potli and says kanha from today you will not live in this house. Kanha is shocked and all people and friends say no. friends say no don’t send kanha away. Kanha says mother I cannot live without you and don’t send your son away. Yashoda pulls kanha and takes him out of the house. She says kanha from today I remove you from the house. All people are sad and have tears, kanha’s friends say no! damodar is sad and rahu thinks I got what I wanted. Yashoda says from today I am not your mother and you are not my son. Kanha says mother where will I go? I always eat butter from your hand, what will I do? Yashoda says I don’t care, go anywhere but not in gokul. Kanha is sad and turns away and starts walking. Yashoda goes inside. All people and friends go behind kanha. People cry and say kanha don’t go. kanha is sad and cries and says I have to go people, my mother has given this punishment to me and I cannot insult her. Kanha goes ahead as his friend try to stop him. balram comes running and says kanha! Kanha says brother? Balram comes and has tears, he says kanha you were leaving your brother balram? Did you take my permission? Without telling me you were going?
Kanha says brother I have to go as mother has punished me. Balram says kanha, I am your brother and I have always lived with you, if there is no kanha then there is no balram, you will come back with me home. Kanha says brother I can come back but if I come back then mother’s punishment will be insulted and do you want that? Balram says no kanha. Balram says then kanha I have decided if you go then even I will go with you away from gokul. Kanha is shocked.
