Parneet collides with Rakesh while running on a street. He throws her dupatta away and tries to touch her. Parneet wakes up with a start. Leave me. I haven’t done anything. She realizes that it was a bad dream and breaks down.
MLA asks the family if everything is fine. I knew that you wont accept the proposal. I dint accept it too but what to do as my son has fallen in love with Parneet. Flashback shows Rakesh telling his father that he will marry Parneet to take revenge. I need to take revenge and I will do it for life. Flashback ends. Mandeep tells her husband to convince Parneet’s father. We can save Vikram this way.
Parneet thinks of the guy she met in the hospital as she looks at the locket.
MLA asks for the answer. Mandeep says yes but Parneet’s father says no. Mandeep goes to call Parneet. We should ask her opinion. She rushes to Parneet’s room. Come with me. Parneet asks her if Vikram is here. Mandeep tells her that it can happen if she would want that. Rakesh’s father has agreed to withdraw all the charges if you agree to marry Rakesh. You know Vikram is not at fault here. They will put 10 more false charges otherwise. You can save Vikram. He did the right thing by saving you and dint even think of anyone else. It is your turn. Save your brother by saying yes for the wedding. Parneet’s mother comes there. She tells Parneet not to be afraid. You can say no clearly. Parneet looks back at Mandeep who folds her hands.
Parneet’s father requests Rakesh’s father to forgive Vikram. He made a mistake. Parneet joins them. Rakesh’s father asks her if she is Parneet. Parneet’s father steps in. He tries to say no but Mandeep intervenes. It is a good alliance. Parneet’s father says it would have been a good one if this hadn’t happened. The current circumstances aren’t right. Parneet thinks of Mandeep’s words and says yes. Everyone is taken aback. Parneet’s Chacha asks Parneet if someone has pressurized her. Parneet says Papa ji just said that I would have said yes if the circumstances were different. Rakesh’s father is happy at the news.
Parneet’s mother asks Parneet why she said yes. Parneet lies that Rakesh isn’t a bad guy. Her mother tells her that she knows her well. You are avoiding looking me in the eye. How can a guy who tried to molest you be good? Parneet admits it that she is doing this to save Vikram. Her mother decides to tell her husband but Parneet stops her. MLA wont spare Vikram and us ever. Please don’t say anything to Papa ji. Her mother is concerned for her but Parneet tells her to leave things as they are for now. I must marry Rakesh so we can get out of this problem. Parneet’s mother almost raises her hand to slap her but stops. She hugs her. You are very innocent. You are right though. We have no alternative but to accept this proposal. They hug again. Mandeep asks them to come outside. They are calling Parneet for roka. She asks Parneet to change and come quickly.
Parneet’s mother and Chachi take Parneet outside. Rakesh’s father introduces his wife to everyone. Neeti enters just when Rakesh’s mother puts the dupatta on Parneet’s head. Neeti recognizes Shera. Mandeep introduces Neeti to Rakesh’s parents. You (Neeti) have come at the right time. Parneet’s roka is about to happen. Neeti is shocked. She asks Parneet if she has lost her mind. You are doing this under pressure, right? Parneet stops her from reacting. I said yes willingly. Neeti refuses to fall for it. You might be interested in committing suicide but I wont let you do it. Parneet’s mother looks at the girls. Parneet stops Neeti from interfering. Mind your business. You don’t have to do anything here. Neeti tells her to do it if she wants. I wont be a part of any of this. Parneet says I dint mean that. I am happy with this alliance. Neeti knows it isn’t true. She asks Parneet to say no but Parneet refuses. Neeti storms out of the house.
Mandeep asks her husband and Parneet’s father to be happy. Parneet’s roka is happening and Vikram will come back too. Her husband murmurs that he is coming back because of Parneet only. She retorts that he went to jail because of her only.
Parneet’s mother follows Neeti outside. Neeti asks her why they aren’t stopping Parneet from taking the wrong step. Parneet’s mother tells her everything. Neeti asks her why they have agreed to let Parneet marry an animal. Vikram will come out of jail one day or another. You shouldn’t let it happen. You have made up your mind so let it be! I wont be a part of this wedding. She leaves.
Parneet notices 2 girls playing and think of their childhood promise (they wont marry unless they choose groom for the other). Neeti is hurt. She is a liar! I dint say yes yet your roka is done already.
The roka is complete. Rakesh’s father tells his wife that Rakesh wants to take Parneet on dinner tonight. Parneet’s mother objects but Rakesh’s father insists that this is justified. They will get to know each other by spending time together. Parneet’s father decides to send Mandeep with them. Rakesh’s parents agree. They decide to settle on the wedding date a little later. Rakesh’s parents leave. Parneet thinks that Neeti got upset and left. I would have felt better if she was going to come with Rakesh and me tonight.
Neeti wonder how she should save Parneet from Rakesh. I don’t know why he even wants to marry Parneet. She decides to go to hospital. I will torture him so much that he might end up blurting why he said yes.
The guy who had given lift to Neeti is reversing his car when Neeti hits it from behind. He complains but then goes silent when he notices her. People gather around and blame him for the collision. He tells everyone that they will settle it amongst themselves but Neeti doesn’t let anyone leave. She even asks for compensation for damages. He points out that his car has been hit. The bystanders support Neeti. He ends up paying money to her as compensation. I dint tease you though! She thanks the bystanders. He honks non-stop. She moves aside and peeks at him. He drives away without a word.
The guy thinks of Neeti on his way. She is cute and a fighter. He hears her shouting and notices her in the rear view mirror. She might have come to create another commotion and take money from me. I wont stop even though she is cute! She drives faster but he wont stop. She stops her scooty in front of his car at a red light. He tells her that he wont give her another penny. She apologizes to him for hitting his car. I know I was at fault as I was distracted yet I took money from you. I knew that people will support a beautiful girl so I played along. I got worried as I thought that you might create a scene because your car was hit badly. She returns the money to him. He smiles. You are great. You insult me in front of so many people and are apologizing to me individually. She replies that she doesn’t have time to gather audience so he should accept this money and her apology. I have to go save my best friend. He asks her if she needs any help. She tells him that he hasn’t come to understand that she is able to handle everything enough. He tells her to go ahead. Your boyfriend must be waiting. She clears it to him that she said best friend. I am going to save her not from her boyfriend but her would-be husband. He wishes her luck and smiles. There is something special about her for sure!
Precap: Parneet and Rakesh go on the dinner date. Neeti finds out about it. Shalu tells Neeti that Rakehs is not a good guy. He is a womanizer! Neeti wonders how to save Parneet from Rakesh. Parneet’s mother is sure something is not right. She prays for Parneet’s well-being. Parneet collides with the guy from the hospital.
