Scene 1
Kaurwaki tells Ashok that she won’t spare his soldiers if he tries to hurt her father. Chanakya comes there and she is shocked seeing him. Ashok tells her that she didn’t even see her father’s condition is much better than before in her angry state, he is recovering well. Kaurwaki is surprised and asks how did it happen? he seems better. Chanakya says I was taking care of him and using medicine on him, if all goes well then he will be fine soon and take over Kaling’s throne again. Ashok says the payment for him to become fine is that you stay in Magadh. Chanakya tells her that it’s not a time to be emotional but to be calm and do something for your father and for your state. You have killed your soldiers to save Bindusar so people in Kaling were angry at you and your father that’s why we had to save him and bring him here to protect him. You have to stay here till you can find a way to calm your state people and win them back. You have to hide this reason from everyone. Ashok says we have told Kaurwaki what we had to, now it’s her decision. He leaves with Chanakya.
Ashok tells Chanakya that he did as he told him to, you made Kaurwaki believe that she has to stay here to keep her father safe. I hated her but today I was thankful to her for giving back my mother’s honor. You took that feeling away by making me scare her, why? Chanakya says for a bigger motive but I can’t tell you more. Kaurwaki should stay here and relationships will become tangled so go and handle them, Ashok nods and leaves. Chanakya says Kaurwaki had to stay here because she is real partner of Ashok, she is going to bring Ashok out of his dark phase and make him the greatest warrior and king of Magadh.
A servant tells Devi that Kaurwaki has stayed back and she even got a room here, she is not leaving Magadh. Devi goes to Ashok and says why did you stop Kaurwaki from leaving? you promised me to send her away. Ashok says I did send her away but it was her fate to bring her back. Devi says don’t put this on fate. Ashok says enough.. you worry that my hatred for her will make me distracted from my mission but I don’t hate her much anymore and she has brought me closer to my mission of getting the throne. Devi says so I was right, you do like her and don’t want her to go. Ashok says this jealousy doesn’t suit you, you are a rich queen so don’t be this pitiful woman of being insecure about another woman. Devi thinks she can’t make him angry. She says I don’t care if Kaurwaki leaves or not, I was just worried about you. Kaurwaki is my best friend so I would want her to stay here and I am not insecure about her. Ashok says that’s like real Devi, he leaves. Helena comes to Devi and says I understand your pain and will help you defeat Kaurwaki. I have a plan. Devi says then tell me that and I will go against Kaurwaki. Ashok told me for the first time that he doesn’t hate Kaurwaki that much so I have to do something to send her away.
Scene 2
Helena calls everyone to the palace. She says today Dharma will be accepted back in the palace with all honour and with her kids. Dharma arrives there and is welcomed like a queen. Ashok stands behind the curtain and is happy. Bindusar welcomes Dharma and makes her sit beside his throne. Helena calls for her crown. Bindusar makes Dharma wear it. Ashok chants for Dharma with Anandi and Pawan. Dharma is happy and holds Bindusar’s hand. Helena says this is a big day so we should have celebrations tomorrow. Ashok has married two women and tomorrow we have rang festival in which our daughter in laws have to make dresses. Dayana says whoever makes the better dress, their husband will make them apply colours on them first. Helena says that whoever wins between Kaurwaki and Devi will be chosen by Ashok to apply colours.
Devi is trying to stitch the dress for the competition and scolds her servants as she doesn’t know how to make it. Kaurwaki comes there and says you can’t make this dress because you have no experience of it. Devi says you are going to taunt me now? you went back on your words and came back here. Kaurwaki says I wanted to leave. Devi says then why did you come back? Kaurwaki says I can’t tell you the reason but I want Ashok to apply color to you. I am here to help you. Devi says I don’t need that.
Sushim asks Bindusar why he accepted Ashok in the palace? you know he has a bad fate and shouldn’t be close to you. Bindusar cries for Dharma. Dayana says you gave her honor back and is in the palace now. Sushim says why did you bring her back? Bindusar says I will have a peaceful sleep tonight as Dharma is here, he is dizzy. Sushim asks Dayana what’s wrong with him and that Ashok is in the palace now. Dayana says don’t worry, Helena will take care of them.
Kaurwaki tells Devi that she is here to help her with her dress as she isn’t going to make any dress. Devi asks why? Kaurwaki says I don’t want to impress Ashok and don’t want to stand with him as his wife. I have no interest in winning this competition and want you to win. Devi says I don’t trust you. Kaurwaki says I know that but I will make a dress for you. She starts making the dress. Devi smirks and thinks if I win tomorrow then I will ask them to throw Kaurwaki out of here.
