Scene 1

Ashok comes to Chanakya and says Devi’s father has sent wealth so I can bribe the ministers over Sushim. Chanakya asks what he wants to know from him? Ashok says I want to become a king on my own, I want to prove my worth without using Devi’s wealth. Ashok tells his his plan.

Kaurwaki comes to meet with Sushim and says you are such a nice person but Ashok has crossed all limits, he is doing a sin and a crime. Sushim asks what is he doing? Kaurwaki says he has taken wealth from Devi to bribe the ministers, he is going to win over you by cheating.

Ashok meets with a soldier and gives him gold coins, he asks him to do as he said and if anyone asks then tell them you are Sushim’s soldier.

Dayana tells Helena that how could Devi go against them and giving all her wealth to Ashok? Helena says we all knew she is crazy about Ashok that’s why I wanted her on our side. Sushim comes there and says we don’t need it. He shows her the letters and says I will send it out to the ministers, they all know that I fulfil my promises so I have promised them a lot big positions if I become a king. They will not care about Devi’s wealth then.

Kaurwaki comes to Devi and says I know Ashok has trapped you so that you are using your wealth to bribe the ministers. Devi says don’t talk about it, nobody should find out. Kaurwaki says I am sorry but I have already told about this to Sushim because this is wrong. Devi says who the hell are you to tell me what’s right or wrong? you have betrayed your husband and me.. you have crossed all limits today. Kaurwaki says I did it for you, if you send Ashok for the voting then he will be insulted so stop him, this is all wrong, he win the throne by winning hearts.

Scene 2

All ministers gather in the palace for voting. Subhandhu tells the ministers that they have to vote between Sushim and Ashok to choose one as a next king. Subhandhu says Ashok haven’t arrived till now, if he doesn’t come in some time then we will disqualify him and Sushim will win the position. Kaurwaki thanks Devi for stopping Ashok from coming here, I don’t like him but I didn’t want him to be insulted. Devi says you are a fool to think that Ashok would be scared of insults and won’t show up for his rightful throne. Ashok arrives there just in time. He greets everyone and says I was busy choosing the best dress as a king. Subhandhu tells him to sit down.

The voting starts and the ministers vote one by one. Kaurwaki asks Devi what Ashok is up to? I know he plotted something. Devi says I am not a fool to you tell you anything so you can spoil it for us. The voting continues and most of the ministers vote for Ashok. He wins the voting. Helena and Dayana can’t believe it. Subhandhu says Ashok won the voting so our new king is Ashok. Dharma congratulates him. Devi tells Kaurwaki that she thought she caught their plan, you really thought Ashok would stoop so low that he would take wealth from me and bribe ministers to get the throne? Ashok doesn’t have low morals like that that’s why I fell in love with him, he is intelligent and he won today because of his IQ and smartness, not because of my wealth. Subhandhu tells everyone that Ashok will rule Magadh in Bindusar’s absence. Sushim shouts that Ashok cheated so I don’t accept this. The minister tells him to shut up.. you didn’t send letters to everyone to bribe them to vote for you but the letter from you said that you will give us our property back once you become the king. Sushim checks it and says this is not the letter I sent. Helena tells him to calm down and says the king has been chosen. We will have a celebration tomorrow. She leaves with her family. Devi tells Kaurwaki that you thought you told everything to Sushim but we twisted everything. Ashok tells Kaurwaki that you were a pawn in all this, you really thought you caught us but it was me who wanted you to hear Devi and I. I was the one who sent you to Sushim to complain about it. Kaurwaki is confused hearing that.

Precap: Helen says to Susheem that Ashok won’t sit on the throne because he won’t make it to tomorrow.
