Punar Vivah 21st May 2013 Written Episode
Scene 1:
Location: At the event in mumbai
The girl gives the laptop and apologizes profusely to yash. He thanks her too immensely. She asks him not to bother. She says that she too is from Bhopal. she takes her bag and is about to leave, when yash reminds her that she is yet again taking his bag, and gives her, the bag that belongs to her. she says that she too had some work here, but it didnt turn out to her favour.
As she is about to take leave, Yash asks her not to be sad, and if this didnt hapen, other works would follow. Yash asks if she’s the same one who saved his child. She agrees, and is about to talk more, but is interrupted by a butler, who asks her to get going as there’s some work that is required. She takes his leave, while yash wishes her good luck.
Scene 2:
Location: Scindia mansion and at the event
cultural programmes are on in full swing at the scindia mansion, which all enjoy. arti gets yash’s call, who tells her about his work’s success, and how he misses her. Arti asks yash to take her to a disc, to enjoy the night life here. he continuously says I LOVE YOU to her, and cancels the phone. Arti is happy.
Yash finds the new girl, standing lonely, and crying. he asks her what happned. she says that she did her job, and would now leave. Yash tells her to enjoy happiness when it comes her way. she says that she didnt get the job, but they want her to arrange marriage events. she is unsure if she would be able to manage. Yash tells her that she can do this, and she just has to believe in herself and her talent. She says that he speaks just like that person, who got her rid of her fear. when yash asks who, she spills out Raj, and then gets nostalgic, thinking about it. He says that means she lost lots in bhopal. Meanwhile, yash tells the girl, that the person who has waited so long for her, would wait for longer, if he truly loves her. The girl looks up at yash in hope. He says that he has the faith that when she goes back to bhopal, she would definitely find him waiting for her, and that is true love. He says that he would tell about her to his wife. He clicks her picture to show it to arti.
Arti too talks to the bride commenting on the heroic name, RAJ. she drapes a dupatta around sarita, and says that their love would be strong, and that she believes in arranged marriage more than love, and wishes her all the happiness in the world. Sarita says that leaving her parents’ house, she is here just on the faith of raj’s love. She says that she has small dreams, maybe a small house, but a big heart, and loving children, and a love filled life. arti too agrees that for relations, love is needed, to sustain a marriiage, and that she would pray that she always be in love with raj, and he too reciprocates the same.
Arti dances, while she and sarita anxiously wait for the groom to arrive. They keep staring at the vacant door, in anticipation. The groom however is very frustrated, as his dilemma drives him crazy, as he aimlessly drives around the city. Sohan Lal is very tensed at having to answer guests, about his son’s disappearance. He makes up excuses about the traffic. Sarita too is getting tensed. Raj is very frustrated, as he cant seem to make a decsision, or accept the changes in his life, and is visibly angry at his fate.
Sohan is very angry, when they cant find his son anywhere, and starts reprimanding his wife, for their son’s carelessness. He asks her to call and find out if he picks up. She does so, and they find that he isnt picking hers as well. he blames her for raj’s misbehaviour.
As Vidhi begins to remind arti about their flight, arti asks to wait till the groom arrives, and the ceremony starts. But vidhi says that they would miss the flight, and all they can do now is to pray for sarita. Vidhi reminds her that she needs to be in Mumbai, for her kids’ admission tomorrow. she wants to go meet sarita, but cant as suraj rushes them so that they dont miss the flight. Arti looks back and finds sarita very tensed, and prays for Raj to come back soon, wherever he is. She leaves.
Sohan’s mother too expresses her concern, that this would mean insult in the family. Sohan says that raj would have to do what he wants him to do, as he’s the one who built everything. As sohan’s wife begins to say that they are blaming her for everything, without any mistake of hers, as he was the one who fell in love. sohan is very angry at the mention of love, and says that love could have happened after marriage too, and that she should have explained this to him, as he had found such a good girl for him. His mother asks her to be silent, and assuage his in laws. He is at a loss for saying anything, scared of the insult that would follow, if Raj doesnt show up. His wife asks what would happen, if raj doesnt show up. Sohan says that the in laws’ are much more influential than theirs, and they would definitely seek revenge for this insult. Sarita hears this from behind the curtain, the family’s concerns over Raj’s disapperance. This upsets her and she accidentally breaks the vase kept there, which alarms sohan and his family.
Scene 3:
Location: Yash’s residence in Mumbai
Arti contemplates with yash, as to what is in sarita’s fate. Arti says that till they were there, noone came, and tells him everything that she had overheard. Yash is surprised that the marriage was against raj’s wish. she tells yash about sarita’s dreams. She says that she had tried to call, but couldnt get through. Yash says that she should be positive, as whatever happens is for the good. Yash goes on to tell arti about divya, the girl he met at the event, saying that she too had left bhopal, and her love back to fulfill her responsibilities. Arti laments that god always takes tests of couples in love. He asks her not worry and shows her the picture. As arti looks at it, she zooms in and finds Raj’s photo in divya’s hand, and is upset and shocked. She asks who is the man in the photo. Yash identifies him as Raj, the person who is Divya’s love. Arti tells that this is raj, who was to get married to sarita. Yash thinks that this means raj is getting married in Bhopal, and Divya is in mumbai pining for his love.
Arti says that now she understands why raj didnt want to come to the wedding, as he’s in love with divya, and is being forced into this marriage. Yash says that now they would have to see who gets raj’s love, divya or sarita. Arti too wonders who would get Raj, and whether raj would accept sarita, as the girl in his life, or wait for his first love. She laments as to why this happens. Yash asks her not to worry as everything would work out soon. They hug each other. The screen freezes on their face.
Precap: A narrator exclaims that Divya has been a famous tv actress for long, and has earned everyone’s love as Choti Bahu. Now it remains to be seen, as to how this actress’s real love life is, and goes on to depict a scene of Divya’s first interaction with Raj, at the station.

May 22, 09:30I will be honest yaar . . I first started watching because of GC . I was drawn in by his handsome face . But ,wait !! I didn’t know anything about the man GC at the time . I had never seen him in any other show , the way some others did . I was drawn in by the sadness I saw in Yash that GC managed to instill in that character . I wanted to know his story . I felt his pain of losing the love of his life . This was only from the promo yaar .
The first episode , I loved Aarti . I didn’t even know her name was Kratika , again I had never seen nor heard of her before , but I admired her demenor and stage presence . She danced beautifully and I couldn’t understand how in this modern day , people still looked down on Aarti because she was a divorcee . I wanted to see her happy and remarried . I loved when she and Yash bumped into each other . I loved when the flowers fell on Aarti . I loved , loved when Pratheik met hockey wielding Aarti .
KS has made her fans of her proud . She faced rebuke but , like her character , she stood strong and kept on persevering . She managed to bear the weight of PV many times in GC’s absence and I can’t find her complicit in what happened yaar .
I loved Shobha , admired her love or her daughter – in – law . I had never seen a woman like her , who stood up like that for her son’s ex wife . I loved Ansh , Payal , Palak . The dynamics were great from the inception and I could tell that this would be a great show .
GC was great as an angry, sad man . He added depth to the characacter , but the writers took his anger a bit too far sometimes . I wonder why they let this go on for so long . . I imagine that his better half never minded these days much . I kept waiting for Yash to love Aarti as a husband should love a wife .
There was great humour and awkward moments . Two persons came to be together because destiny took control of their lives . I loved the meaning , symbolism , character development , beautiful house , beautiful people . Schindia house became a familiar place , the characters were well known to us . PV crept into our hearts because we lived vicariously through theses characters and felt what they felt . The Mittals are capable of brilliance , but they gave us only sadness in the end .

I wasn’t a fan of GC at first , I loved Yash . . I loved Aarti . I liked that he was handsome , but I feel that even if he wasn’t as handsome , I might have enjoyed the character , none the less , the way I like Asad .

May 22, 09:53In my opinion Afreesh , the biggest mistake the Mittals made with PV was to allow Aarti to become pregnant . They ran themselves into the ground after that track .
Second was that they under-utilised Prashant’s character . They were afraid , like you said before , of going against the fans . It would have been better had they made better use of him than to run out of ideas .
Third was to kill off Gayatri . Why didn’t Papa S suffer more ?? . Then we would have seen if they were brave enough to have Gayatri remarried . Radha remained alone and lived her life for her son . He was 30 , he should have been on his own long before . I don’t think that she really deserved Gayatri’s position . Gayatri worshipped a man who betrayed her . I didn’t like many things , but I stuck with it . SJ knew that things wouldn’t get better , but I hoped that it would .

3. The storytelling method allowed you to stay with them
4. The brilliance of their characterisation & their unique sequences admired you
5. All the above points motivated you to be hopeful about future track patiently nevertheless of its downfall.
6. Finally the attachment towards PV & your helpless state against it’s eruptions fueled your negative energy to dance around the stadium.
Fine the next question is
1. According to you… Who should be awarded for PV’s success the creative or the leads???…

May 22, 10:14I think that both contributed to PVs success as well as it’s failure . But , I will be honest and say the creatives . They had a great concept and I have read from many forum friends who said that they never looked at a soap before , but were attracted by the concept of PV .
I really enjoyed the way they paid attention to detail . Especially the wedding and Aarti’s entry . They were taking time to weave their plot because we would later see how things would unfold . I know I speak too much about it , but I vividly remember Pari kicking the rice . I feel that her character had too many shades of grey and maybe it would have led to an eventual divorce between her and Pratheik . I saw the possibilities . The creatives could have done much better with more willing actors .

GC fans were blessings and also cursing to Mittals yaar, I can say 50/50 .
Basically Mittals are very good business man. He used GC fans & his handsome face to attract people who didn’t even try to think about what he wanted to convey regarding the remarriage of a divorced woman who had child. Mittals got success at the first part of his business, latter the same fans became curse and ruined his business.
He became helpless, didn’t know how to handle the sword, gave up the sword to audience…. that was his biggest mistake. You remember Suni….I annoyed at the very moment of collapsed Prashand track. That was the time the creatives lost their charms & confidence due to greed.

May 22, 10:49Yes Suni…. we should agree yaar, the creatives are the main reason for the success of their show nor the actor/actress.
The male lead were used as a constant advertising agent for their product of PV…..They would’ve utilised him to the fullest instead of showing him as a ‘eye candy’ or ‘attracting glue” which would bring audience to purchase their product everyday….. That was their great mistake, unknowingly PH hung themselves by misleading their audience. They should’ve concerned about the quality of their product as soon as they reached their target in the market, in spite of relying on the advertisement & popularity of their product.
Finally, when their ‘advertising agent’ presence was threatened , they emerged to close their business since the quality of the product already destroyed.

Neither we gained nor we lost yaar…. we are in safer zone, if we like the second product we will buy otherwise we go for purchasing other one. That’s it…very simple
According to me… Neither of them (mittals & GC) is going to win completely in the future endeavour.
Mittals may provide quality product without attracting agent ….
GC may endup with compromises and forced to work with brainless creative team.
We got the quality product PV with the completeness because of these two powerful sources.

All fans know that the Mittals used us by keeping PV1 cast involved in PV2 . They can’t fool the people all the time yaar . Today we will be officially on PV 2 forum , it still seemed familiar because of the PV cast , exactly what the Mittals wanted to happen when they launched their ,( I hesitate to use the term new , recycled seems more appropriate ) PV 2 . It will feel strange .

This lady who is portraying Raj mother does not look like a permanent role player here. She looks like one of those ladies you being in to show up something then you don’t see her for the rest of the show. Like the dancer lady who Ishita ask to kidnap Ayu, or some lady you see at a function who makes the ridiculous comments.
O well, no more PV from today. 🙁 well one less show to be hooked on 🙂

May 22, 06:42SJ dear , Tanveer does her mischief yes , but the audience is also seeing many Mitwa moments between AsYa and also a lot of humour . With Ishita , she kidnapped a baby 3 times . There will be negative characters in every show yes , but they overdosed us with Ishita . We saw the return of grumpy Yash for a while , no romance scenes , only stress . Tanveer is evil , but she hates Razia , they have found a way to make her both interesting and bad .
Look at Badi Bi , why couldn’t Maya have been that way with Ishita the way Badi Bi is with Razia??? It seemed like PV writers stopped caring as soon as the Mittals decided that PV was ending . Ishita was overbearing .

Did any one relize the whole controversy was only FOr GC , you are right gc was he reason PV was good ad h is the in or it’s fall too. There was so much controversy against him, obviously somthng was right
What mittals can do, when actors fo not want to compile, Ks ad GC were told many time lip lock
They were backed off, dd not want to do it.
See slowest slowly these things cause fractions amongs actors and amongs mittals.
If you have your own company and things are not working out, wat would you do

Why the chemistry showed by GC and KS in final epic because both wanted to show how good they are

So while GC was good , I would say h betrayed fan too
He advertise himself so much thru twitter, face book, with media and his wife put a lease on him
He made mittals sufer too, how many absuive e mail they are receiving very day
So everyone screwed , all we the fan were betrayed . Gc wanted out anyway
The only hing MItts coud hav given us ending story better , family and lve affection, little Minni vacatin and should end happily

You said it everything Sj…. Mittals are cursed by audience without break but the root cause of the entire problem is roaming around as like as an innocent human.
Yes SJ….I too felt very bad and annoyed about the three week storyline. But not anymore….you know why???… I understood, that three weeks story has been created for many reasons….
1. Perhaps, it (3 weeks storyline) was the battle field where mittals and GC were fought together silently. The first one attempted to destroy his heroic image and the second one tried to destroy him through his charms & acting skill.
2. Mittals wanted the audience & GC to recognize ” No acter is great than the characterisation”
3. Mittals gave befitting reply to the cursing audience through Ishita dominated script
Overall, we have nothing to do over their EGO battle. Thus, I have no complaints or hurts regarding PV’s pathetic ending. I’m glad atleast we have this forum to continue our companionship & worthy friendship.

I don’t know how to watch this new show . Honestly it makes me feel sick to try to make sense of it , and to look at the new cast .
My open mind closes every time they copy a PV1 scene , and they haven’t used the Ye Dil Hai song yet , but they planned to .
. My instinct is telling me to stay away , but I can’t , because I will miss you guys . I don’t know why they named this PV 2 , the ridiculousness of them doing this irritates me no end . They could have started a new show , with a different name .
I hate that they used PV 1 as bait for us fans , only to drag us in like a fish on a line ; we were dragged out of our familiar pond against our will to choose .
We can’t go back to where we were , we are left clueless about how to proceed .
Do we give this show a try despite it appearing to be the worst soap ever made ???
I only look at QH otherwise , I should just stop looking at soaps . I have many books to read .
PV was special , cannot be replicated . The Mittals are taking our intelligence quotient for granted . They think that we have short term memory ; recycling their set , scene , song , props .
Pv2 is stealing everything but , it doesn’t have PV1’s magic .

the wedding week of Arya how Arti was in conflict to tell the truth how she was in conflict in replicating/replacing arpita when in truth she being herself was able to fill the colours of love and life into yash
how Gayatri being a strict but over protective mother tried to give Yash a replacement for Arpita by having Arti in order to gain back the smiles of Yash she so dearly want to see
So many memories…the journey was beautiful yet full of difficulties for ARti to keep her identity
my bigest fears are a repetition of this with raj and sarita and i can see it clearly….IT SUCKS..but why should i care? PV2 should be shot dead
the biggest insult is to have these people try to post forums and other PV2 related information in PV itself! Have teh Mittals no respect for teh dedication of his cast who have made their storylines one of the biggest most popular shows ever???
I truly cannot trust these people…They are like Ishta…snakes

I haven’t seen this episode either, I just can’t believe I’m having internet problem during this last episode 🙁
What I read and what I like was that Yash talking to Aarti on the phone… There you can see that they can’t live without each other anymore…
But I wanted to see Yash going to Bhopal and surprise Aarti instead of the phone call… And they’d dance one last time at their old house and show some beautiful moment at the house… 🙁
I really feel like crying … I will miss my AarYa…
For me PV ends too…
I’m not saying that I will leave for sure I’ll maybe read the updates and try to imagine if it would be a good show for me… But really I was watching PV1 just for Guru, because I know he’s a great actor…
