Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya all set with Season 5; Ashwini-Gurneet roped in

We were the first to inform viewers about Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya (Lost Boy Productions) coming with a new season.

The Zing TV project will launch its fifth season titled ‘Love Aas Paas’ that will present the love tales in the galliyan and mohallas in India. The neighbourhood romance has always been an entertaining one onscreen and the season will create the same magic once again.

Also the season 5 will see Parth Samthaan return as the host, but without Smriti Kalra this time.

The first episode of the series will see Ashwini Koul (Warrior High) and Gurneet Chadha (Yeh Hai Aashiqui, Main Tera Hero, also a creative with Lost Boy) play the leads Rahul and Simran.

Shared a source, “Rahul and Simran will be neighbours and their family will decide to get them married. With Simran being overweight, Rahul will decline the marriage, but his grandmother will emotionally blackmail him into getting engaged.”

How the two battle it out this forced relationship will mark the crux of the story.

When we buzzed Gurneet she said, “I am really excited to be back on camera. Also for the first time, I am dressed up completely in an Indian avatar. Being dressed up for the shaadi sequences is super fun. Having worked with Ashwini, it is always a treat to get back. I am sure viewers would enjoy the episode.”

Creative Director Saurabh Arora also quipped, “We have had a successful run with Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya and we are really excited to come up with this hatke new season. The romance portrayed in Love Aas Paas will be fun, passionate, and truly entertaining.”

Season 5 of Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya launches this Friday (17 July).
