Salil Ankola and Sucheta Trivedi to essay Damayanti’s parents in Life OK’s Savitri

We reported exclusively about the entry of Maninee De Mishra in Life OK’s Savitri. The show which is produced by Flying Turtle Films will have two more important entries that will kick-start the back story of the protagonist Savitri (Ridhi Dogra).

As we know, Savitri has been in search of the book that has the story about her past life. And in the episodes to come, Savitri unravels the book and starts to read the chapters one by one. This is when the sequences that happened in the past will be shown.

Cricketer turned actor Salil Ankola will come back to television with this show. Talented actress Sucheta Trivedi, who was last seen in Ek Doosre Se Karte Hai Pyaar Hum, will also make her entry in Savitri. A reliable source tells us that Salil and Sucheta have been roped in to play the parents of Princess Damayanti (Savitri in her past life), and will play the King and Queen.

When contacted, Sucheta Trivedi confirmed this piece of news saying, “Yes, I am pretty excited to play this role. The show Savitri reminds me of Harry Potter and such other stories. I am starting shoot for the serial today, and I play the Queen and mother to the little Damayanti. As Savitri goes through the pages of the book, our past story will get narrated.”

We hear that Sucheta Trivedi who will now be seen as Savitri’s mother in past life, will also be seen in Savitri’s present life in Kolkata.
